"I saw a ferris wheel from a distance yesterday, right before we found this place to stay." Jimin's voice cuts through the calm between them, as soft as satin, but slightly strained from their previous activities. He smiles into Jungkook's touch, the others fingertips sweeping back hair strands from his eyes. "Did you see it?"

Jungkook shakes his head. "Sorry, love. I didn't notice." Jimin's eyes are wide, full of excitement. Happy looks beautiful on Jimin, especially when happiness is the only thing that he is wearing. He reverses his hand on the others forehead to feel for a fever. The medicine must have worked a tiny miracle, or maybe he had just chosen it well. By the knowledge of the back of his hand, Jungkook deems his boyfriend to be fever reduced, quite dramatically. "Are you implying that we should go find it?"

Jimin grins, gathering himself onto his knees eagerly. "Yes. Can we?"

For only a moment, a disappointing moment, Jungkook's mind creates a terrifying scenario of being abandoned. He's tricked into finding a ferris wheel and set up in a way that leaves him heartbroken and alone. Jungkook pushes it away, because he won't let the darkness of past mistakes harm either one of their futures. It's only a passing thought, and it's gone. "If you feel good enough, we can do anything."

If you asked Jungkook, the ferris wheel never existed. It's the obvious answer to a very pointed question. "Mochi, where is the ferris wheel?" His irrational fear of being left behind quakes in the back of his mind, making him the tiniest bit on edge.

"I swear to you, I saw it!" Jimin raises a finger to point towards empty space that hovers amongst one story residential houses. "Maybe it's over there." He can't accept that it was a delusion, a figment of his imagination. He saw it, lights flashing the colors of the rainbow, so bright he almost had to squint to see it.

In an amused tone, Jungkook whispers softly, "I believe you." He does, really, because not believing him means giving up on the point he's trying to make to Jimin. They have to trust each other, no matter what. Even if trust means believing in the possibility of a fantasy Ferris wheel. "But, are you sure that you saw it here, in this town? Yesterday?"

"Yes." Jimin nods aggressively. He's beginning to feel crazy, paranoid that his mind is starting to play tricks on him. He knows what he saw. "I saw it here, right after we got off of the.. The bus!" His expression lights up again as he crashes head first into the brilliant realization. His memory failed him in the time stamp department, but he isn't crazy or delusional. Jimin grabs his boyfriends hand. "It's behind the motel, not in front of it!"

With a gentle chuckle, still amused and willing to be dragged across the entirety of an unfamiliar town just to win a battle of trust, Jungkook follows.

The daylight is barely hanging on, dimming rays cascading the sidewalk in elongated shadows by the time flashing lights draw their attention.

Jimin tugs against Jungkook's hand in his own playfully, his smile so wide it looks painful. "I told you I saw it." He proclaims, proud of the proof before them in all of its towering glory.

"I didn't doubt you, love." Jungkook responds with a challenging shrug of his shoulders. He pulls Jimin into his side, wrapping his arms around the smallers frame and hugging him close. The night is chilly, but with no extra bite of a breeze to sink into their bones, it's comfortable enough. Jimin's breath tickles the nape of his neck and he laughs. "Do you want to ride it with me?" Jungkook asks.
