Jimin stumbles over the words written on the small piece of paper, over and over again until his brain won't absorb them anymore. Hoseok waits yet again at the door, patiently and with intrigue in his expression. He dodges questions targeted at gaining knowledge of the clue at hand. Jimin, still confused and now anxious to get to the bottom of what's really going on, stands up and rushes to the door. "Show me where I'm supposed to go, Hobi." It's a demand this time, and he can only hope Hoseok will be soft enough to lead him in the right direction. Already, he misses Jungkook.

This is a game, the younger is fully aware of the fact. His curiosity spikes, mind wondering off into insane possibilities and scenarios as to why Jungkook planned something like this. How did the man disappear so quickly from his room? He was acting so strange, Jimin curses himself for not knowing sooner what his odd behavior had meant.

The place we first met.

The phrase stands at attention in Jimin's mind, begging to be broken down. There's many places he would consider their first meeting taking place, but it depends really on the type of meeting Jungkook is referring to of course. Technically speaking, the first place that they ever met was in school, the school he doesn't attend anymore.

In another question he has low confidence in being answered directly, Jimin asks, "A-am I supposed to go to our school? Is that right?"

A quick smile, accompanied by a gentle laugh, changes Hoseok's features. He shrugs, but steps out of the doorway towards the staircase. "We should go find out."

It's a better response than Jimin could've hoped for, he concludes. Feeling a bit giddy, feeling correct, the boy follows his friend through the doorway. They descend the staircase and Jimin finds himself smiling.

A silent walk follows, their footsteps scuffing the concrete beneath their feet the only sound between them. Hoseok stays quiet, knowing how important it is for him to keep as much as possible shrouded in mystery. Jimin is intelligent, so Hoseok worries silently to himself about the outcome of Jungkook's adventure for the boy. The end is most important, and it remaining a surprise is top priority.

Jimin filters through the scenarios that weigh on his shoulders, the good and the better. He's nervous to approach the school building he misses, the courtyard in which he has one terrible remaining memory. He feels stronger now than he ever has been before, so being reminded of the past isn't such a bad thing. Jimin knows he can face his obstacles and be brave, because he's still here and he's okay. He's still loved.

Hoseok stops suddenly, watching Jimin continue for a moment before stopping to look back at him. "Find your next clue, Chim." The older man informs, motioning towards the large, bustling school building. Classes are in session, but chattering voices reach their ears through open windows.

Lost in thought, the smaller boy hadn't realized they'd made it. He looks up from his feet, glancing around once before his eyes land on a familiar face in the distance. Jimin's lips curve upwards and he laughs, footsteps carrying him quickly to his friend. "Shouldn't you be in class right now?" He mutters softly as he approaches Seokjin, shaking his head at the excitement he can detect in the older man's eyes.

Seokjin shrugs, clearing his throat and straightening his expression to appear serious. "Your next clue." He whispers, holding his hand out to present another tiny black box identical to the last.

Okay, they carry the clues. Right? Jimin wonders to himself, knowing he must look confused again by the chuckle Seokjin gives. He takes the box from the man's hand and opens it quickly, finding a similar note scrawled on a tiny paper inside. Before Jimin reads it, he takes a chance at finding an answer to one of his burning questions. Maybe his oldest hyung will be less bent over vague responses. "Is Jungkook trying to.. uh-" Widened eyes, masked with disconnected eye contact and a loud, nervous laugh become Jimin's answer before his question is completed. He nods his head, feeling a bit more grounded in knowing whatever the end result of this chaos concludes to be, it's something they intend on keeping a secret. "Right, I'll read this."

You made it, Love. I knew you would.
Now, lets find something else that's good.
Remember something super sweet,
Something that you love to eat.

Jimin smiles. He knows this one without a doubt in his mind.
