Chapter 8: Protective Big Sister Mode

Heidi's POV

I just made it out of magical history class, and I am currently placing things in my locker. I close my eyes for a second enjoying the outside locker area, the feeling of the sun on my skin, the sound of classmates talking to another, and the sound of lockers closing, "Heidi?" I hear my voice being called. I open my eyes to see a guy standing next to my locker, he has brown hair, he is wearing a nice blue dress shirt, an apple pendant around his neck, nice blue jeans, and light grey dress shoes. His name is Sebastian, and he is the son of Queen Snow White and King Florian. "Bash, what can I do for you?" Sebastian clears his throat before talking, "I actually have two questions to ask, that is if you have the time?" Sebastian is very much like his father, he is chivalrous, very opened-minded, charismatic, extremely charming, and kind to everyone that crosses his path, "I have nowhere to be at the moment, what can I help you with?" Sebastian nods his head to me, "I was wondering if you had seen my sister anywhere?" Queen Snow White and King Florian had two kids, a son of course named Sebastian, and a daughter named Star. "Last I saw Star, she was heading into her smiling class." Sebastian nods his head at me, "I am just asking to make sure that she is going to class, she has a tendency to wonder off, she gets that from our mother." I smile at him as I put my books in my locker, "What was the other thing you wanted to ask me?" This question makes him stand up completely straight, and he starts stammering over his words, "I know that you are very close to the daughter of Drizella Tremaine........." I cut him off before he could finish what was saying, "You mean Dizzy?" I ask kind of threating, "Yes, and I was wondering if she was being courted by anyone?" I didn't understand what he was asking, Sebastian sometimes uses old words that I have never heard before, "What do you mean by courted?" I ask closing my locker and giving him my undivided attention, "What I mean is that, I am asking if Dizzy is seeing anyone?" Sebastian is more nervous than when Harry first asked me out, "Bash, do you like Dizzy?" His faces gets a red as a tomato, "I have grown very fond of her." This was catching me completely by surprise, I wasn't even aware that Dizzy and Sebastian even knew each other, "Bash, how do you even know Dizzy?" His face turns dark red, "My sister Star is always talking about how she does a wonderful job at 'Color Me Crazy', and I finally got to meet her for the first time on the first day of school......" I cut him off again, but this time it is to just end his blabbing, "You do know that there is an age difference between you two." Sebastian nods his head, "I am aware of this." I take a step towards him, "You are almost 2 years older than she is Bash." I don't know why but I feel myself go into some kind of protective mode, "I just want to get to know her first, and see where that leads." I take a dangerous step towards him, "Why Dizzy?" Sebastian can tell that I am not going to lead up on my questions, and he seems to have no problem answering them, "She is sweet, cheerful, never lets anyone damper her good mood, she is one of the most friendliest people I have ever met in my life, and her creative is only matched by Evie's." I grab Sebastian by shirt, "You better not hurt her, because if you do, the underworld will look like candy land compared to what I will do to you." I suddenly pull myself out of the haze, and I let Sebastian go, "I am sorry about that Bash, I don't know what came over me." Bash fixes his shirt, "I would never intentionally hurt Dizzy, my parents raised me better than that." I smile a weak smile at him, "I know that Bash, and again I am sorry about the way I reacted." Sebastian puts his hand my shoulder, "You were just protecting your friend, I will act the same way if I ever hear that some guy is interested in Star." His words bring little comfort to me, this is the second time today I had a violent outburst, and it is starting to worry me, "Thanks Bash, and I am happy to know that Dizzy will be in great hands with you." He smiles a huge smile at em showing off his prefect white teeth, "That means a lot coming from you." Sebastian takes my hand bowing to me, and places a soft kiss on my hand, "I need to get going, I have a after school thing to get too." He inclines his head to me one more time before walking off. Moments later it suddenly hits me that I need to get back to Henry and Harry. I sling my purse over my shoulder and rush back to Harry's room as fast as I can. I finally make it to the room, but I stop just outside the door to catch my breath. I open the door to see Harry rushing out, "Hello to you too." I say in a sarcastic voice, "Sorry love, I would like nothing more than to hear all about your first day back, but I have to get to R.O.A.R practice, and right after that I have my classes." Harry gives me a quick kiss on my lips, "I am not sure what time I will be back, but if you are up and I feel awake enough after everything, we can sit down and talk." Before I can even respond Harry is already is gone, "I love you too." I say walking to into the bedroom and picking up Henry, "At least I have you to keep me company." Henry just lays in my arms content as can be, "How about mommy and you go outside and I can show you around your new home." I gather everything I need for Henry as the two of us head out so that Henry can explore the place he will call home.
