Price of A Wish (Peter Parker/ Tom Holland x Reader)

Introductions

The teacher calls roll while everyone is off in their own little world. Except for me and Jami. We're stuck in this world. 

"{Y/N} {L/N}?" the teacher calls. 

"H-Here," I answer. Pretty much everyone looks at me. I guess it is normal since I'm new to them.

"Jami Cours?" she continues. 

"Here," Jami answers, obviously bored out of her mind. The teacher smiles and motions for us to stand up. We walk to the front of the class and introduce ourselves.

"I'm Jami Cours," Jami says. "I moved here from, uh... Brooklyn. Not that far but... you know."

"I-I'm {Y/N} {L/N}," I say, trying not to hyperventilate. Did I mention I have a thing about talking in front of large crowds? Well, I do. "I moved here from Jersey City."

"Why did you reject Flash in the hallway?" a kid shouts. "He's so hot." My face heats up and I look to Jami for help. She just shrugs instead of helping. Typical. 

"For one," I start. "I don't think he's anywhere near attractive. But he pretty much treated me like a toy and my... It was offensive. I didn't like it so I told him off, that's all." I make eye contact with Peter. God his eyes are pretty. I walk back to my desk not wanting to answer any more questions. 

The teacher lets us talk amongst ourselves. Once again, while the other's talk I zone out. The bell rings and then everyone stands up. I smile at Peter and keep the butterflies still. 

~ The Skip The Of The Time The To The The End The Of The School The Day The ~

Finally, the last bell rings, signaling the end of our suffering. Jami, Peter, and I all walk out of the school. Suddenly, I remember I left some textbooks in my locker that I needed for homework. 

"I need to go get something," I say. "I'll be right back." They don't notice as I walk back toward the school. I unlock my locker, that just so happens to be next to Peter's. I take a deep breath, his aroma causing my face to light up. I grab the textbooks and shove them into my bag. 

When I exit the school, I'm unable to find Jami or Peter anywhere. But I do see the giant tower a dozen or so blocks away, so I start to walk in that general direction. I end up getting totally lost, now more than two dozen blocks away from the tower. And it's starting to get dark, great. My first time alone in New York City and I'm lost, hungry, and alone. 

A woman screams in an alley near me. I decide to investigate. A man is trying to steal a woman's purse. Luckily, a brick is lying near my foot, so I pick it up and throw it. The brick hits the man in the head, causing him to fall down. I run over and hand the lady her purse. She quickly thanks me before running out of the alley. 

I, myself was about to leave too, But then the guy shoves a tranquilizer into my neck, so that kind of sucks. Talk about a bad first day of school.
