Brayden's POV

Having security was not on my bucket list or anything but when one of the guys is hot, it's not so bad.

"Stop staring at the guy," Corbyn said, annoyed.

"What? Does it bother you?" I asked, smirking.

"Yes, very much," Corbyn said.

"Well then, I'm going to stare at him even more," I said.

"Ughh," He groaned.

"So, Alex, have you always been a security guard?" I asked him flirtatiously while Corbyn rolled his eyes.

"Actually I just started, I just finished school to become one," he said.

"So you're young?" I asked leaning in closer.

"Yeaah," He said, clearly weirded out.

"How old are you anyways?" I asked Alex, looking into his bright blue eyes.

"I'm 21. How old are you?" He asked.

"I'm 18. Three years apart isn't so bad, what do you think Corbyn?" I asked.

"I think that's ridiculous," he said.

"I don't think it's that ridiculous. I just haven't gotten to know you yet," Alex said, suddenly seeming interested.

Corbyn groaned and walked out of the room. I turned back around to face the handsome, muscular man.

"You're quite small for an 18 year old, it's adorable," Alex said smiling at me.

"Thanks," I said blushing.

"So someone's trying to kill you?" He asked surprised.

"Not someone, multiple people actually," I said.

"Why would someone do that. Who could hate you anyways?" He asked, looking me up and down.

"Let's just say I'm a heartbreaker," I said, flipping my hair and joking around.

"I'm sure it's easy to break hearts with those beautiful brown eyes. They stare into your soul," he said.

I blushed. I like this guy.

"Brayden. I need to talk to you... right now!" Corbyn yelled.

"Why?! I'm having a nice conversation with Alex," I said, yelling back.

"Just get over here!" He yelled. I rolled my eyes and smiled at Alex.

"I'll be right back," I said.

"I should come with you," he said, following me.

"No. It's fine," I said.

"What if he tries to kill you?!" He asked, smiling.

"He won't. He's actually saved me, multiple times," I said.

"Oh. Are you guys together?" He asked.

"Well-," suddenly I was interrupted by Corbyn yelling again. "Get over here Bray!"

"Ok. I'll be back, alive," I said to Alex and walked away.

"What is it?" I asked, agitated.

"No need to get all attached to Alex. This is only temporary," Corbyn said.

"That's what this is about?" I asked.

"Yes. It already seems like you like the dude," he said, waving his hands in the air, his face turning red from annoyance.
