Brayden's POV

"I'm not leaving you this time," Alex said firmly.

"Fine," I said.

"I told Corbyn not to leave you, but he did," Alex said.

"Yeah, he messed up but let's not get to caught up in it, I'm okay Alex," I said.

"I just can't let anything happen to you. For starters, I'm getting used to your company. Secondly, it wouldn't look good if someone I guarded was dead," he said the last sentence with attitude.

"Alex, once again I'm sorry," Corbyn said.

"I know. I know," he said.

"So I seriously can't leave the house?!" I asked, whining.

"No. Are you crazy, after how many times your life has been threatened. I'm never letting you out of my sight," Corbyn said, raising his voice.

Alex chuckled a little. "It's my job to protect her, not you."

"Whatever, as long as she's safe I don't care," Corbyn said, giving Alex the death stare. Alex stared back at him.

"So what are we going to do to make this day fun?" I asked, standing up to grab a glass of water.

"We could watch a movie," Alex said.

"Too basic," Corbyn said.

"Ok, do you got any ideas smart one?" Alex asked Corbyn.

"Not at the moment, but I'll come back to you on that," Corbyn said with attitude.

"Can we watch Christmas movies?!" I asked, and then took a sip of my water.

"It's almost summer, why would we watch a Christmas movie?" Alex asked.

"Every time is Christmas time," Corbyn said.

"He gets it," I said pointing to Corbyn.

"I mean I guess we could watch a Christmas movie," he said.

"Ok good because I just bought The Grinch who Stole Christmas on Blu-ray," I said running to grab it, spilling my water in the process.

"I'll clean it up," Corbyn said, grabbing some paper towels.

"Thanks!" I screamed from my room.

I ran out with the dvd, showing it to Alex and Corbyn. My expression was much more excited than theirs. Alex was giving me a dirty look and Corbyn didn't look impressed.

"We need ice cream, cookies, don't forget EGGNOG!" I said screaming, putting the movie in the DVD player.

"I don't want to know how enthusiastic you are about Christmas when it's actually Christmas time," Alex said.

"Me either," Corbyn said.

"Can one of you pick up some eggnog?" I asked the boys.

"Alex, how about you do it," Corbyn said with a fake smile.

"No, I'm her body guard, I can't leave her," he said fake smiling back.

"Fine, I'll get it," he said rolling his eyes.

"Thanks, I appreciate it buddy," Alex said.

"Don't call me buddy I'm only 2 years younger than you," Corbyn said defensively.

Alex waved to Corbyn, signaling him to leave already.

"So why do you like this movie so much?" Alex asked me.
