| Chapter 2 |

// MINA //

I woke up the next morning really early since I was going to go drop off my brother at the airport.

I was currently helping my mum make breakfast. We set the table, and sat down along with Jeonghan to eat.
After we finished eating, we decided to play monopoly since we still had time before we had to leave.

Monopoly, you could say, was like a family tradition. We always played it, after eating, before we go to sleep, we never got bored of it.

My dad loved it aswell...

"Hey Mina, Seungcheol just texted me, he already left, we should go now," Jeonghan said getting up.

My mum wasn't coming since she had work.
She worked at a perfume company which included alot of business trips and late nights. Sometimes she'd leave for weeks, sometimes a month. But I was understanding because
I knew it was an important job.

I grabbed my phone and we said goodbye to my mum before hopping into the car.

We jammed to dpr the entire way there, Jeonghan and I were huge fans and often did karaoke to his songs.

We finally got to the airport after an hours drive. When we entered the airport, we already spotted Seungcheol waiting in the queue for luggage drop offs.

As we got closer he noticed us and ran up to me, hugging me tightly, lifting me off my feet. He put me down after a few seconds only to kiss me softly. He pulled away, hugging me more tightly. We heard a cough shortly after, we pulled away to see Jeonghan looking at us.

"Do you mind? I wanna hug my baby sister too," he said pushing Seungcheol away to hug me.
He pulled away and kissed my cheek.

"Please stay safe, don't skip meals, and do well on your last exam tomorrow, I'll see you in a few weeks," he said before patting my head, making way for Seungcheol.

Next it was Seungcheol, he grabbed my hands kissing both lightly, then my lips.

"In a few weeks I won't have to be missing you anymore, I'll see my girlfriend every single day," he said happily.

I waved them goodbye as they left.

I'm going to miss them

I drove straight home since I was free for the day. I walked in, and took my shoes off, I was home alone since my mums at work.

I was half way up the stairs when I heard noises come from my room.
I didn't know what to do so I quickly but quietly ran in the kitchen to get a broom.

I know it was a shit move but I am so weak, so if there is a burglar up there, at least the broom will be able to do something. I slowly made my way upstairs, opening my room door. When I opened it completely with my foot, since my hands were occupied with the broom, I saw someone on my bed, and I screamed.

"Bro calm down its just me," the person turned around, and I saw that it was my best friend Lisa.

I sighed in relief.

"Uhh what are you doing with that?" Lisa asked pointing to the broom in my hands.

"Oh right, well I thought you were a burglar, can't you call before coming?" I asked her, annoyed.

I actually thought I was gonna die.

"I'm sorry Mina, your mum let me in and I thought I'd crash here," she said getting up from the bed.

"Where were you anyways?" she asked me as I went back downstairs to put the broom away.

I should tell her now

"Actually Lisa I have something to tell you first," I said grabbing her hands, leading her to the sofa. Once we sat down, I took a deep breath in and out.

"I-I'm dating Seungcheol," I said.

I think it took a while for it to register because after a few seconds she looked at me and screamed so loud I swear everyone outside the neighborhood heard as well.

As for me, I think my ears are gone.
"Be quiet," I whined.

"Wh-what do you mean BE QUIET!? SINCE WHEN WERE YOU TWO A THING?" she yelled again.

"It's been two weeks," I said.
She looked at me as if I just spit out a tooth.

"Wait so...YOU'VE KEPT IT FROM ME FOR THAT LONG!?" she screamed.

"I wanted to tell you straight away, but Seungcheol wanted to tell everyone at once." I said.

"Woah just because he's your bae now doesn't mean we can't keep our secrets," Lisa said rolling her eyes.

"Yes I know and I'm sorry," I replied hoping she'd forgive me.

"Well I can't stay mad at you or Seungcheol because I'm just so happy for you guys!!" she said clapping her hands.

"But woah I'm shocked, you've turned down so many guys and now here you are," she said laughing.

Lisa and I have been friends since we were crawling. Our mums were friends as well so thats how we've known eachother for that long. She's been there for me when I needed her the most, Lisa and her mum looked after us so well when my father died.
He was loved by everyone, but mostly by us.

He was a humble and sweet man that always put his family and friends first. He passed away when I was only five years old in a car accident. My father owned a bakery here in Busan which we gave away after he died.

"I always told you you guys would end up together, I'm always right," Lisa said breaking away by thoughts.

That it true, she would always say that she thinks Seungcheol likes me, but I thought she was just playing around.

She's only met Seungcheol once only saying 'hi' to each other, but I always told her about him and so that's how she knew him.

We spent ages talking and talking, even fit in a bit of studying before our exam tomorrow.

The next day went by really fast, it was the last day of school so it wasn't anything special. We already had our graduation last week but today there was an assembly, then we had our last exam. It was a shortened day so I was already heading home.

I had my earphones in, sf9 blasting through it, when I felt someone behind me grab both of my shoulders.
I ripped of my earphones and turned around to see my best friend Bambam smiling cheekily at me.

"God you scared me," I said putting my phone along with my earphones back in my blazer pocket.
"Well hello to you too," Bambam said rolling his eyes.

Lisa and I met Bambam in 2nd grade, he was a really bright and cheerful person to be around. It's always been the three of us, together through thick and thin.

"So what brings you here?" I asked him as we walked together.

"Well I wanted to walk you home from school since this will be the last time," he said.

"True, and it's also our last time wearing this uniform," I said.

It was kinda of sad that we've finished high school, we're happy it's over, but I'm going to miss a lot of things.

I'm just happy that I'm not leaving Bambam and Lisa behind.

Thankfully we all got accepted into the same university in Seoul, I can't imagine how it would've been if either one of us hadn't.

Bambam waved goodbye as he dropped me off at the front door.
I went inside, took off my shoes, and changed into comfortable clothes before running to the couch so I can finish of 'My I.D is Gangnam Beauty'.

I had kept it on hold because of exams and I didn't want to get distracted, but now I can watch freely.
