Three Days Later.

They lay side by side at home, unsure really what to say to one another. They felt empty, empty of emotion. Their tears were dry. For now. Gone was the sadness, the cruel truth of reality had now taken over. Their unborn baby was dead.

Tabitha absent-mindedly moved her hands to her stomach. Only three days ago it had contained a blossoming life. A little girl with their DNA. They would never know whether she had Chris' eyes or Tabitha's hair colour. Tabitha could still picture her little angelic face as she watched Chris holding their daughter, telling her how beautiful and loved she was. Her daughter's toothless smile and wide eyes full of wonder haunted Tabitha as she tried to rest that night. She hadn't slept since the miscarriage.

Another hand came to rest on top of hers as the presence of another body came into contact with Tabitha's back. With a sigh, Tabitha leant into the male behind her, their fingers entwining on her stomach. "Talk to me." Chris said, his breath tickling her neck.

"What is there left to say?"

She felt him nuzzle her neck. "Do you hate me?"

His words shocked her to the core. Tabitha felt her blood run cold and heart stop for a moment. "What?"

"It's just that you won't talk to me, you avoid me at all costs and I was just wondering if you hate me because I was out the day it happened. I feel like I should have been there with you. You said to the doctors that you'd been in so much pain that you'd blacked out. Tabs, I should have been here. I don't know, maybe if I'd have gotten you to the hospital in time then Milly may have-" he broke mid-sentence, crying into her skin. His salty tears trailing down her back.

"Chris..." she whispered, moving to face him. Tabitha took in his watery blue eyes, the tears that fell down his cheeks, his perfect lips that were now grimacing. Carefully, she moved to kiss him lightly on the lips, putting as much love and tenderness as she could into it. Her hands travelled to his hair, tangling themselves in his blonde locks as his arms looped around her waist, lightly. Chris was aware that Tabitha was still tender after the miscarriage. "I could never hate you." she mumbled against his lips. "I love you, Evans."

"I love you, Cassanova."

Sebastian and Valerian lay in their apartment, side by side in their bed, silent. Sebastian had his arms wrapped around her waist. He couldn't stop his mind from thinking about Arrabella. He kept thinking about all the times he was with her, he was hurting Valerian. He was hurting the woman he loved.

"I can't believe she miscarried." Valerian finally whispered into the darkness, revealing what she was thinking about.

Sebastian buried his face in her shoulder. "I can't either."

How was he going to tell her?

"She was so looking forward to being a Mom. They even had a name picked out."

He kissed her shoulder, his lips lingering upon her skin. "What was it?"

How was he going to tell her?

"Milly. Milly Evans."

How was he going to tell her?

How was he going to tell her?

How was he going to tell her?

How was he going to tell her?

How was he going to tell her?

How was her going to tell her?

The male actor paused, tears forming in his eyes. She was going to hate him. Valerian was going to hate him when he told her. He was going to lose her. Not yet, she couldn't find out yet, not after everything that had happened. He needed time to word it right, he needed the right time to tell her. If he selfishly told her now, it would most definitely break her beyond repair. First her sister and now him, Sebastian couldn't do that to her.

Oh, so you've found your sense of decency at last, Sebastian? But I think you've forgotten that there's a third party involved, Arrabella and it's highly unlikely that she's going to give you up without a fight. Watch your back, Sebastian. People get burned by other people's fires.
