Colby and I were laid down on our couch talking about well... life in general when Sam walked into the apartment with Kat. I nonchalantly ensured the hoodie I was wearing completely covered my baby bump. Colby and I decided that we're going to wait until twelve to thirteen weeks before we tell everyone about our baby, which means some very loose clothing is needed for the next three to four weeks.

"Hey, guys." Sam greeted happily. He sat down on the other couch while Kat closed the door and joined him.

"Hey." Kat shone brightly.

"Hi, guys. Yes, you may come in." I grumbled. Emotions need to stop.

"Sorry, Octavia." Sam apologized. "But we have an idea. Well, not really but kinda."

"Go for it." Colby sighed. He continued to gently brush through my hair; something he'd been doing to keep me calm from my pregnancy hormones. I'd had such a short temper lately and was glad Colby now knew why.

"I wanna go to Kansas. Me, you, Kat, Octavia, and Jake. I want to see my parents, so does Jake. Kat just wants to leave LA for a while, and I mean, you guys wanna reveal that ring on your finger, don't you?" I thought about that. Depending on when it is, we could tell them about the pregnancy, too. Maybe it'd be good.

"When?" I asked, very interested. I like Colby's parents and I want them to be one of the first to know about baby Brock.

"About a week?" I'll be ten weeks by then. That means if we stay for about two weeks, then we'll be telling people about the little guy anyway.

"Yes, we'll go." I decided for both of us.

"I guess I don't have a say." Colby laughed.

"How it works, Colby." Kat stated. The two left as they had somewhere to be.

"We can tell them about our baby." I looked up at Colby. "If we go in a week, I'll be ten weeks along then if we stay for two weeks, we'll start telling close friends and family. It's perfect." he flicked his gaze between my eyes then smiled and nodded.

"It is kinda perfect, actually. I think we should tell my parents a little before everyone else. If only your mom came, too." I smiled at that.

"Maybe she could. I mean, my mom and your parents need to meet at some point, right? Why not tell the three of them about our engagement when they meet then if we tell them about baby Brock at eleven weeks before everyone else. Siblings are next, though." I reasoned. Colby's eyes lit up at the sound of baby Brock.

"I love that idea, Octavia. I think your motherly, organized instincts are kicking in."

"I think they are, too." I smiled at him then snuggled further into him.

"I love you both." Colby whispered. I instinctively touched my baby bump, Colby placing his hand on top of mine.

"I love us both, too." I whispered back.

Guys, give me baby names plssss. I like @mia_xplr's idea of 'Rose' for a girl (by the way I haven't even decided what I want the gender of the baby to be yet. If you have a preference, tell me!). What do you think? If you see a name you like, tell me so I know! Luv u all 🖤 xx
