We have dinner us three and it's very scary. At any moment shit can go down. "How's school?" Daunte asks Damion. "It's fine. I wish I didn't have to go." He says. At least he is honest. "School always sucked. And ya I went to school. So did your mom. She went in heaven and hell. Mainly heaven cuz she is goody good." Daunte says and laughs. "Okay I liked the good food Mary had to offer okay sue me!" I say and everybody laughs. Why am I mingling with a demon who tried killing me? And oh ya RAPED ME? Gosh I'm stupid. "So when is lover boy coming back?" Daunte says and takes a chug of his beer. "I don't know. He will probably stay with Ben and Riley tonight..." I say. "Dad texted me he's out with Ben right now." Damion says. "Well I'm staying till he arrives." Daunte says. "Fine.." I say. "Damion it's time for bed you have soccer tomorrow." I tell him. "You sure..?" He whispers to me. "It's okay go study and go to bed. It's 11." I whisper back. He listens to me and goes up to his room. "Mmm you're a good mom. Better then mine at least." Daunte says to me. "Thank you I suppose." I say back. "Sia, real talk for a minute." He says. "I never really wanted to hurt you. I just wanted you. I'm here because I know he is really my son and I want to be able to side with him. And you. I know Aaron and yourself won't forgive me but please, not all us demons are terrible. I'm here to redeem myself. I think Nana is growing on me as well." He says. "It is going to take me a while to adjust and yes what you did bothers the fuck out of me. Aaron won't ever forgive you, I'll try to do my best to look at you as a decent man. After all you came back for your kid. But if you ever, cross me again I will kill you without a doubt. Understand?" I say firmly. He smirks. "She's getting feisty. But yes I understand." He says and hugs me. I don't hug him back at first. "What you not a hugger?" He says. "Ugh fine alright!" I say and hug him back. "Just like middle school." He says.
