A sinister atmosphere had shrouded an unassuming alleyway positioned at the edge of this wrecked streetway, littered with the corpses of a few practitioners. The various practitioners who were previously battling Toram and Tira forced to a halt as they sensed the dense killing intent. As they pondered this energy, they couldn't help but reveal looks of shocks on their faces, even more so once they had found its source.

A seeming ordinary crow, with dark feathers which had not so long ago appeared unexpectedly, as if it was there watching their struggles from the beginning. There was something that was most unusual about this creature, for if one were to look at its eyes, they would see that it gleamed with a hint of satire as it cold swept its gaze across the field fixing its sight upon the carriage they had besieged.

"This... what is this dreadful killing aura?!" One practitioner asked in shock.

"Could this crow be the source?! Impossible! I do not believe that such an ordinary crow could have such killing intent, for even the most vicious type of bird essence beast would not have this kind of rich intent!" Another person said as he looked at the crow in the distance.

"Wait... look at its face! Its eyes aren't normal, for they gleam with intellect. It's certainly no ordinary creature, and if my conjecture is right, I think might I know what, or rather who it is..." One of the other practitioners said with a look of anxiousness on his face.

"Huh? You're telling us that this bird has high status?" One of the practitioners stated in a tone of disbelief.

The other practitioner hearing this replied, "It... it is the trademark ability of that famous assassin! The one revered as the number 1 assassin in the Western Shengyin Kingdom - The Killer of the West!" As he said this, his eyes stared fearfully on the cross-shaped scar on top of the crow's forehead.

"What! That dreadful devil! Oh, no!" The surrounding practitioners hearing exclaimed in horror, as their eyes had left Toram and Tira staring fixedly at the ominous crow that loomed over the alleyway.

Toram and Tira seeing that the practitioners were no longer paying attention to them looked at each other silently, they nodded their heads with tactic understanding before their bodies blurred vanishing from the center of the crowd.

Swoosh-swoosh! Not long after, they had appeared back within the vicinity of the carriage. They then looked at Dai Lin and Leon who were now standing at the front of the carriage as if waiting to hear the next command.

Dai Lin seeing this, shook his head and spoke, "We must prepare for battle. This enemy is strong..."

"Mn. Don't let your guard down, for even I can't properly sense his aura!" Leon nodded in agreement, as a severe look could be seen in his eyes while staring at the crow.

"Understood!" Both Toram and Tira replied as they faced the alleyway with a sharp look in their eyes.

It was at this time that the crow had finally decided to act, tilting its head in an upwards angle as its evil red eyes flickered in a chilly manner while gazing at Dai Lin as it spoke. "To think I've caught up to you so soon, I'd have thought that 'their' group would have been the first to reach you. Thus, making this mission more exciting, but sadly, it would seem that it will be a dull finale. No matter, a game is only a game in the end. I take it that you are Dai Lin of the Blue Thunder? Quickly summon your master, for I Wuya have come."
