"You are overdue for a checkup," Agnes tells Claire as the Siphoner wonders around the kitchen cleaning up from lunch. Madelyn sat at the table in the corner coloring in her coloring book. Finn stood by the counter loading the dishwasher while Kol sat beside Madelyn wishing in her ear. Claire couldn't hear what he was saying but knew it was nothing good. She wondered which brother he was having her conspire against. If they all continued to gang up on Klaus, it's only a matter of time before he retaliated.
The only reason why he hasn't yet is because he's too busy with Cami, getting her to help with their plan against Marcel. Claire couldn't really consider it their plan when it was honestly Klaus's plan. Claire couldn't help but to start getting annoyed with Klaus. They would plan one thing and he would do another. He told them he knew what he was doing but Claire didn't like being out of the loop. She felt like Klaus didn't trust her and Claire was getting the end of her rope, soon she would be the one taking things into her own hands.
"I feel fine, Agnes," Claire told her in a reassuring yet bored tone.
"I heard you had two difficult pregnancies, do you really want to risk it and put an appointment off?" Agnes asked. Claire tenses and Finn growls warningly while Kol glares. "I mean no disrespect," Agnes says holding her hands up. "I just don't want anything to happen to this baby like you others," Agnes says softly.
Claire holds her gaze for only a couple of moments before dropping it down to the island counter. She fiddles with her fingers. Finn walks up behind her and pulls her back to his chest. He kisses the top of her head while glaring at Agnes.
"I know a doctor that can see you. I took the liberty of making you an appointment. Now it's off the beaten path but it's a good doctor. Tonight when the shop closes. It's the only way I could get you in." Agnes says. She then looks between Kol and Finn. "It's in the Bayou, they don't like vampires out there"
"Not a chance" Kol growls shooting out of his chair. Madelyn jumps slightly. Kol flashes the little girl a smile and kisses the top of her head. Madelyn grins at him before returning to her coloring. The scowl returns to his face as he advances Agnes. "She's not going anywhere without us"
"She could take Henrik," Agnes suggests trying not to seem nervous under Kol's gaze. "She could take anybody in her coven" Agnes adds looking at Claire knowing she has her own coven. Kol went to argue but Claire beats him too it.
"I appreciate your concern for my pregnancy, Agnes, I really do," Claire says. "But I don't trust you. I'm not going anywhere without my mates. I have faith that Henrik can protect me but when it comes to you French Quarter witches, I'd like a little bit more muscle"
Claire holds Agnes's gaze. Claire's eyebrows frown slightly when she notices Agnes is frustrated, disappointed and even slightly upset. Claire couldn't help but be even warier of the witch.
"If it makes you feel better, I'll see a doctor. But it will be a doctor of my choosing, a doctor I know and trust." Agnes presses her lips together but slowly nods. "I think you've overstayed your welcome," Claire tells her.
