"I'm so nervous." Taylor said getting out of the car.
"Stop stressing. I've told you before they are going to love you. They ask about you all the time when I call." I said locking my car and walking around the car to Taylor.
"I know." Taylor said.
We walk up the steps and Taylor opens the front door.
"Mom dad! I'm home!" I yell.
"In here in the living room honey!" My mom yelled back.
Taylor holds my hand as we walk through the house and turned into the living room to see my dad and brother sitting on the couch watching tv. And my mom is on her computer on the kitchen table.
"Hi Y/N." My brother said.
"Hi Adam." I said.
"Who is this?" My dad asks turning his attention to Taylor and her face turns red from nervousness.
"This is Taylor my girlfriend." I said.
"Hi it's nice to finally meet you all. Sam has told me so much about you." Taylor said.
My dad gets up from the couch and walks over to Taylor and shakes her hand.
"Hi Taylor. I'm Mike." My father said.
"Hello." Taylor said.
"Nice form handshake." My dad said and I rolled my eyes.
He is just saying that to try to intimidate Taylor.
"Dad." I said annoyed.
"Hi I'm Y/N brother Tyler." Tyler said and shook my hand.
"Hello." I said.
Mom walks out of the kitchen, "Hi I'm Amy. Sam's mom." Amy said.
"Hello." Taylor said.
"It's nice to finally meet you. Y/N has told me so much about you." Amy said.
"I hope good things." Taylor jokes and my parents laughed.
"She talks none stop about you." Tyler said.
We talk for hours and Taylor seems to quickly relax into the family. Mom brought out some of my childhood photos and the please of my protests to put them away mom won. Taylor flips through the pages of my old pictures and laughs.
"You had your hair really short?" She asks looking at the picture more closely.
"Ew it was my emo phase." I said cringing.
"And you dyed it bright red?" Taylor said shocked and laughed harder.
"I regret that hairstyle the most." I said and laughed as well.
"Dinner is ready." Mom said.
We sat down at the table and told more stories. We laughed and talked for hours. Afterwards Taylor offered to help clean but mom refused telling her to release since she is our guest.
"I think it's time we are heading out." I said looking at the clock realizing how late it is.
"Have a safe drive home honey. I love you." Mom said hugging me.
"I love you too mom." I said.
"Bye sweetheart." Dad said hugging me.
"Bye dad." I said.
"Goodbye." Taylor said and hugged my dad.
"Bye Taylor." Dad said and hugged her back. I see that dad whispered something in her ear.
We walked out of the house and get into the car.
"What did my dad say when he said goodbye?" I asked.
"He thanked me for treating her daughter right and making you so happy." Taylor said smiling.
I smiled and I turned on the car and we drove home.
