Next morning came fast. Khushi was still sleeping and Arnav wanted to prepare breakfast for her. She was clearly upset last night and he wanted to lighten her mood by making her morning as beautiful as possible. Actually he wanted to stay home today, but there was an upcoming important meeting and he really needed to prepare everything.

Arnav opened the kitchen cabinet to take cups out, when one hand touched his shoulder. He turned around, smiling and being happy to finally see his beautiful Khushi. He thought she was behind him, when he saw the face of her sister.

>>Good morning, Arnav.<<

He nodded feeling very uncomfortable because she shamelessly invaded his space. Before he could move away, she tried to take the cups out of his hands. Payal put her hands over his, but didn't move them immediately away. Arnav didn't wait too long to move his hands away from her touch and the cup felt down on the floor.

It shattered in two big half.

Arnav bent down to pick it up and then Payal was suddenly there too and touched his hands again.

It looked as if she tried to pick the same broken piece up. Her fingers touched Arnav's fingers again and she even stroked his skin with her fingertips. He pulled his hand away as if he burned himself.

Payal smiled politely.

>>Oh, I am sorry. I just wanted to help.<<

Arnav stood up and walked to the tap. He turned on the water and took the dish detergent. Then he took a lot of it and started washing his hands. He did it until every part of his hands was covered with soap.

Then he washed it away with water.

While he did this Arnav could feel Payal's eyes on him and his movements. He could hear her voice.

>>I am really sorry about the cup. Your house is beautiful. It must be very expensive. I would say, I can buy you a new one, but I don't think I have enough money. The cup was surely very expensive.<<

Payal touched again his arm and Arnav turned annoyed around. His face wasn't showing any friendliness toward Payal.

>>Okay, listen. I don't know what my wife is going to decide about you, but here are some rules you need to follow if you want to stay in my house. First one I already told you yesterday. First floor is absolutely taboo for you. And the second one which is actually more important is, that I don't like to be touched. So if you want to stay here, stay away from me.<<

For a small second, Payal looked shocked but removed the feeling from her face immediately and acted as if nothing happened.

>>I am sorry, Arnav. It's just, I found my beloved sister after so many years. The circumstances of our separation were horrible and I will not forgive people who hurt her. Now that I see that she finally found someone who is worth of her,I am just happy. I want to be with you and learn the man who took care of my sister. Is this so wrong?<<

Arnav looked at her to read her expression.

>>Khushi still didn't tell me whether she wants you here or not. All depends on her. And I'm saying it again, don't touch me. This is nothing personal against you. I don't like anyone touching me.<<

She laughed aloud and leaned against the counter.

>>Not even my sister?<<

He didn't smile back.
