Sana is silent while sitting behind Sid as they leave the beach. She is thinking everything that Sid just said. Indeed she has destroyed the base of the relationship by doing things to fulfill her stubbornness. But the truth is that she has absolutely no idea how a relationship is actually built. Lost in her thoughts, she has no idea that Sid has stopped his bike and asking her something. He touches her finger that is resting on his shoulder and her trance breaks. She hears Sid saying, "Are you hungry?"Sana after thinking for sometime says, "Hmm.. but it's okay. I don't feel like eating. Let's go home." Sid says, "Get down." Sana does what she is asked and he holds her hands and takes her towards a old hut.

Sid knocks at the door and an old woman opens the door. She is about 75 years old with a wrinkled face and all white hair. She is wearing a big bindi on her forehead, flowers in her hair and an old framed glasses resting on her sharp nose. She asks,"Hè kona àhe?(who is this?)" Sid smiles and replies, "Mí, Sidharth, tu kasa ahesa aji?(Me, Sidharth, How are you grandmother?)" The old lady smiles and hugs him saying, "Sidharth, tu baryaca divasanni ala..(you came after a long time.)" Her eyes are moist now as she drags him into the hut, holding his hand. Sid looks at Sana signalling her to come inside. Sana gets inside into a modest brick hut with a thatched room. Inside the room is a bed at one corner where an old man is sleeping. There is only one chair and a stool on which some medicines are kept. There is a door going to a small courtyard beside which there are two more rooms, a kitchen and another bedroom may be.

The old woman brings a mat and puts it on the floor. Her eyes now fall on the girl standing behind Sid and she asks,"Hè mulgi kon ahe?(who is this girl?)" Sid sits down and points the seat beside him to Sana to sit. He says, "ti majhi baiko ahe.(She is my wife)Sana." The lady gives a toothless smile and rushes to Sana. She runs her hand over her face and says she is really beautiful. She makes her sit beside Sid and says,"Uttama jodi.(best couple)" She goes inside and tells her daughter-in-law and her granddaughters to come outside. The women of the family are shy and happy seeing Sana and Sid. They whisper among themselves, recognising Sana. They bring two plates of rice, fish curry of thin gravy and a vegetable curry with coconut. Sana after some inhibitions, starts to eat and enjoys the food.

After a well spent afternoon with some good people, Sid and Sana take their leave with a promise to visit them again. Aji has tears in her eyes, as they leave for their home. Sana is cheerful again after meeting such nice people. She asks, " Who are those people? locals na? How did you know them?" Sid smiles and says, "I used to come here for buying fish when I worked at a restaurant. I was hardly 18 years then. Aji used to be a top seller in the group. As soon as the boat used to come, she was there, always the first in the line. She used to place her bets to buy the best catch, which she later used to sell at better rates. I had met her then." He pauses a bit and says,"Once her husband, the old man sleeping on the bed, had come instead of her. He was not that good in getting through the crowd and so with one push, he fell down. I had picked him up, given him water and bought the fish for him. When Aji had come and found out what I had done, she had hugged me and made me his new grandson. She started getting breakfast for me as I used to come down early morning empty stomach. After leaving the job, I used to visit her whenever I got a chance. This is how I came to know them and became a part of their lives. " Sana says, "She is so nice. Her whole family is so good." Sid replies,"Yes. She has four sons and five daughters but only one son and his family stays with her now. She loves everyone so much."

Sana thinks how easy is it for some strangers to make Sid a part of their lives and him to accept them as his own. Then why can't she become a part of his life now. She knows now that Sid might be angry on her and he has his reasons for that, but he does not hate her. Sid does not have the hate bone in his body at all. All the behavior he shows, the hard nature that he pretends to have are all results of his hurt. She needs to give him time just like Maa had told her. She decides that she will ensure never to hurt him again in future.
