Chapter 59

"Sidharth! Baby! Mere Hottie... Helloo Handsome Shayer..Siddy boy..A..g..arh..", Sana screams during the coaxing session in the bedroom. Sidharth has not uttered a single word after their conversation at Jaanvi's house. Even after Sana continuous cajoling to shed his anger, he has remained calm and quiet. Sana finding him not responding to her apologies, puts her head over his chest and kisses him. He still does not react but closes his eyes, pretending to sleep. Sana whispers,"Sadu phir se gussa ho gaya. Now what to do?" She bites her lower lips and lifts her face and presses her lips on his. Sidharth holds her from her arms and pushes her off from his body and turns to his side to sleep. Sana screams,"Amm...aaa.. kitna ganda hai yeh. Fine I accept my mistake. I would have definitely told you. Bina bataye kya main kahin jati? But I just was late to tell you. Abb ho gayi galti..kya karun..(coming closer to his ears) mar jaun?" Sidharth doesn't reply even to the last sentence. He keeps his eyes closed and pretends to be asleep.

Sid turns to see Sana sleeping. Her lower lip is out just like babies do when they cry. How cute does she looks! A soft smile appears on his face. He knows she is innocent and does things unknowingly. But he expects her to share everything with him. Expectations! The root cause of all miseries but a vital part of human nature. He kisses her head and gets out of the bed. Going near the desk, he takes out his diary and the one Sana had given to him falls down too. He runs his fingers over it. He has been writing his poems into this but not tonight. He shakes his head and starts writing.
"Dil mein uthta hai dard,
Jab woh mujhe naa samjhe.
Poochta hun main khud ko,
Kya mere pyar mein koi sachai nahi?
Jaan ta hun woh anjaan hai,
Masoom hai, Naadan hai.
Par umeed ki iss duniya mein,
Insaan hun main, farista nahi."

For the next two days, Sid avoids Sana. He does not talk to her much or take her with him. His shift finishes late hours of night. So when he returns, he finds her asleep. That night he enters the room and in the darkness, he hits his leg on something hard and groans in pain. Sana hearing the sound, jumps off from bed with screams,"Am..aa..". Sid tries to stop her from shouting by covering her mouth with his palm. Sana thinking him as some thief, bites him. Sid leaves her and backing off hits the thing that he had dashed his leg earlier and falls down with another groan. Sana finding him on the ground, sits over her and starts hitting him.

Sid holds her hands and rolling her over the floor, he pins her down and bringing his face closer says,"Apne husband ko aur kitna marogi? Hun?" "Husband? Sidharth tum? I thought you are a thief..chodo mujhe abhi..", says Sana. Sid leaves her hands and sits down on the floor, rubbing his knee. Sana gets up and switches on the light. She asks,"Sorry Sidharth! I got scared. What happened to your knee?" Sid looks up to her and says,"My knee dashed with something." He turns to find a suitcase next to the door. He clenching his teeth says,"What is that? Why the suitcase is again out like that?" Sana bites her tongue to say,"Sorry.. woh main pack kar rahi thi then I felt sleepy and forgot to move it." She goes and brings a spray to put it on his knee. But Sid gets up and says,"I don't need it." He goes limping into the washroom to change.

Sid returns to find the suitcase at one side near the wall and it's owner sitting on the bed crossed legs. He does not say anything and lies down on the bed. Sana looks at him and says,"I have already accepted my mistake of telling you late. But now you are also committing some mistakes. Like not talking to me, not forgiving me, not hugging me..list is getting bigger.. " She looks at him and says,"I will be ... away .. from you for few days.. And.. you.. Itna gussa.. ki.. I.. hate you..." Sana covers her face and starts crying. How can he see tears in her eyes now? He sits up and puts his arms around her and kisses her shoulder. He says,"Sorry for upseting you. I was never angry but I was just hurt." Sana within her sobs says,"I said sorry na, several times actually. but.. you.. kuch... jyada ..hota hai tumhara.. I hate.. you.." Sid says,"So you hate me? Really? Phir main jaa raha hun.. you have hurt me again.." "Amma.. no.. please mat jao..", cries Sana holding his wrist. Sid smiles and wipes away the tears. He cupping her face, kisses her full on her lips. He says,"I thought you will be in Lonavala for two nights but now you are saying you will be in Coorg for a week or more. Just imagine how will I live without you. I was upset actually." Sana dugs her face into his chest and with whimpers says,"You..think it is .. easy for me to stay.. away from you? Hun? .. I wanted to spend the time, close to you before I leave. But you.. gussa raho.. hamesha.." Sid cups her face again and looking into those dark eyes, he says,
"Teri ankhon mein main hun,
Mujhe ansun se yun na baaha.
Yeh pal hai sirf pyar karne ke liye,
Inhe baaton mein na bita."
