The Screeching Egg
"Ouch!" I reacted when I pricked my finger while I was stitching my robe because there was a big bloody hole there that I stepped on.
"Bloody Hell Agape!" Cedric and ran to get a ban aid as I suck my finger to stop the bleeding, he arrived with a band aid and puts it in the finger that I pricked, "You should be careful okay?" he said while putting the band aid in my finger
"Okay Dad" I said jokingly and he just laughed at me, "Don't you have anywhere to go?" I asked as he was just sitting with me the whole morning with me here in our common room
"Well we have no interviews or any practice so I'll be sticking with you like a tick to a dog" he said which made me do a disgusted face
"That's bloody disgusting" I said and continued stitching while he reads his book
It was a chill day, we woke up late because of the ball yesterday and the 2ND tasks of the Triwizard Tournament is in 2 days. Ever since I woke up I couldn't stop thinking of what happened yesterday at the Astronomy tower, I hope no one was there. Just thinking about it already made me blush.
"Have you already figured out the egg?" I asked Cedric when I remembered the tournament
"Huh?" he stopped reading his book and looked at me while one of his eyebrows was raised up
"The egg, the clue" I repeated
"Oh, yeah I already figured it out" he said
"So what is it?" I asked
"Mad-Eye moody told me to open it underwater, so I did in the Prefect bathroom in the fifth floor" he said and I stopped him when I realized something
"Professor Moody? Why would he tell you that?" I asked looking suspicious of Mad-Eye Moody
"I don't know" he said, "Well it sang the words 'Come seek us where our voices sound. We cannot sing above the ground. An hour long you'll have to look, to recover what we took.' And that's it. It took me a very long time to figure it out and I was trying to rush it because of Moaning Myrtle" he said
"Moaning Myrtle?" I asked, trying to contain my laughter
"Don't laugh, she died because of the Basilisk back when the chamber of secrets were open in the past" he explained and my expression changed
"Aw, that's very sad" I said, "Have you told this to Harry?" I asked him
"Why would I tell him?" he asked and I just gave him a look
"Well, he did tip you off about the dragons" I said to him
"Yeah, I should help him this time" he said and stood up, "Be right back Godfrey" he said and left while I continued stitching my robe

I took Agape's advice to tip off Harry so I went to find him which was not that hard because I found him in the bridge outside Hogwarts "Hey Potter" I called Harry who was with Hermione but he continued walking, "Potter!" I called him again
"Cedric" he said
"How are you?" I asked him when he finally stopped walking.
"Spectacular" he answered, still looking confused
