Chapter 30

The Blackout

I heard a very loud yet muffled scream as another bright lightning struck again and it was followed by the loud thunder, it must be one of the girls. Suddenly, knocks were heard from my door. I stood up to fix my pajamas and wore a jacket to hide the thing in my neck and chest. "Are you okay?" asked Tonks as she held her wand with a light coming out from it.

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked her as my eyes adjust to the light coming from her wand

"The lights are out from the lightning and thunder, you must be cold" She said and told her to come with her downstairs. I just took something from my nightstand and followed her.

We walked slowly for it was dark, "Nox" Tonks whispered and the light from her wand suddenly faded as we reached the ground floor where there was bright lights everywhere

"Incendio" I heard George cast a spell to light the woods in the fireplace. I roamed my eyes around and saw Ginny wrapped in a blanket with Molly caressing her hair

"Who screamed? I heard it so loud and clearly in the top floor" I asked Lily who was just playing with the strands of her hair while sitting in a bench

"Ginny, the thunder was so loud that she woke up from her deep sleep" she explained and let out a little laugh,

"What's that on your hand?" Ginny asked as she looked at the thing that in was holding.

"It's a flash light" I said as I raised my hands and opened it making her flinch when the light touched her eyes, "It's like lumos but not with a wand, a muggle version" I explained as I turned it off for it was kind of blinding her

"Good thing it's summer, if it's winter, we'll all be ice cubes in here. It'll be like living inside a refrigerator!" Mrs. Weasley said as she caressed Ginny's hair

"Would you all like a midnight snack?" Aunt Vivienne asked as she took out the cupcakes from the box she was holding and magically made them float in front of us

"Well, I always agree to food" I said as I reached for the cupcake in front of me

"If it's chocolate then I take it" said Remus who was sitting with Tonks as he grabbed the chocolate flavor in front of him

As another lightning struck, I felt a sharp pain in my chest which made me clutch it as I placed the cupcake down in the table beside me. "Are you okay, Godfrey?" asked Sirius who was standing just in front of where I was sitting

"Yeah, just a little chest pain, it'll go by" I said as my breathing went heavier and heavier, "I need to go to the comfort room" I said and stood up from where I was sitting and walked casually to the comfort room

"Do you want me to muffleli...?" I cut Aunt Vivienne who was standing just behind the door of the comfort room while talking to me

"Yes...please" I said as my hands were griping tightly in the sink as I bear with the sharp pain in the chest.

"Muffliato..." Aunt Vivienne casted. It got worse when another lightning struck. I looked at the mirror and saw how bad it had spread. I screamed in pain as a bright lightning struck. When it finally stopped, I opened the door and saw Aunt Vivienne standing outside the invisible bubble that muffled the comfort room. She muttered a spell which reversed the muffliato
