Chapter 24

Wood Manor

"Welcome to our Wood manor" Oliver said as I looked out the window of the car and saw their huge mansion

"Merlin's beard..." I said in shock as I look at their manor, amazed.

"Welcome back Sir Oliver" said a house elf and it bowed and carried the luggage from the trunk of the car we rode.

"It's good to be back, Rossy" Oliver said and helped carried the luggage and I also did.

"Oliver!" Mrs. Wood came running down the stairs when we got inside the manor and immediately hugged Oliver

"Mom, this is Agape" Oliver introduced me

"Agape Paris Godfrey, Mrs. Wood" I introduced myself and gave her a genuine smile and her gaze drifted from Oliver to me who's standing just beside Oliver

"Nice to meet you Ms. Godfrey, you can call me Gail" She said and gave me a kiss in the cheeks "and I haven't heard your surname, are you a muggle born dear?" she asked me as she looked at me with her light brown eyes, just like Oliver's

"Yes ma'am...I mean Gail, I'm a muggle born" I said and smiled at her as she smiled at me back

"Oli!" a small voice said and we all looked at the stairs and saw a little girl running down

"Don't run Liv! You might fall down the stairs again!" Mrs. Wood scolded her, she slowed down but ran again when she finally got down the stairs. Oliver kneeled to match her height and opened his arms for a hug

"I missed you Oli!" She said and hugged Oliver

"I've missed you to Liv, you're finally going to Hogwarts next year! I hope you're a Gryffindor too" Oliver said and pinched her chubby cheeks

"I'm going to be a Gryffindor of course, I'm a Wood!" she said and she looked at me, "Hello, she's so pretty!" She said when her gaze drifted to me, "Hello I'm Liv, what about you?" she introduced herself and asked me

"Hello Olivia, Oliver told me all about you in the train, and you're so adorable!" I said and kneeled to match her height "I'm Agape, my name is Agape Godfrey sweetie" I said and she smiled at me sweetly

"Your room is now prepared Agape, you can go there now" Mrs. Wood informed me, I turned around to get my luggage but it was already gone, "Rossy already placed them Upstairs, Agape" said Mrs. Wood and I just smiled at her and Oliver accompanied me to my room

"Merlin's beard! This is like a whole house!" I said as I roamed around the room

"My room is just in front of yours so you can just knock if you need something" Oliver said before he left and closed the door

I walked around and opened a door leading to a walk in closet and a bathroom, "This room is massive!" I said to myself as I walked around. The night came and I was called by Oliver for dinner when I finished unpacking my clothes

"Good evening Mr. Wood" I greeted Oliver's father as Oliver pulled my chair and let me sat down the chair

"Ah, you must be Ms. Agape Godfrey, nice to finally meet you, you can call me Maxwell or Max if you want" He said and flashed a smile, his smile was like Oliver's

"It's nice to meet you too, Max" I said and smiled back

"Well let's eat now" Mrs. Wood said and Olivia rejoiced and began eating, I smiled as I looked at them four. I wish my family was like this....

The dinner ended and we all went to bed after dessert, I quickly slept in the soft mattress but woke up when I felt a weight in my waist. I opened my eyes and saw a body in front of me, it was Oliver. I tried lifting his arm but failed and he just hugged me tighter and my face is now in his chest. "Hey" I whispered as I tap his back

"It's midnight, I couldn't sleep, and I was feeling homesick" he whispered back in a very tired and sleepy voice

"Oli, you're in your manor, how can you feel homesick in your own house" I said back to him and he looked down to me

"You are my home" he said and I saw his eyes glimmer in the darkness, I smiled as he kissed my forehead

"You saved me, that day in the cliff. Why did you save me?" I asked him

"Well, if you see someone calling for help and is hanging at the edge of a cliff will you just ignore her?" He asked and I let out a small laugh

"You have no idea how scared I was that day..." I said to him

"You're with me now, I'll always be with you" said Oliver and he caressed my back

"You're also my home..." I whispered

"Sleep now Agape..." he said and buried his face in my neck, his hot breath tickling my neck, my hand went at his back, caressing him softly and a small smile appeared on my lips as I heard his snores. I closed my eyes as I smell his scent, I fell asleep immediately in his arms.

The morning came and Oliver wasn't in my bed, I guess he left early in the morning. "Good morning Agape!" Liv greeted me as she went down the stairs with me, she held my hand.

"Good morning Liv" I greeted her back as I held her soft hand while going down the huge grand staircase

"Ah! Good morning Ms. Godfrey!" Max greeted me as he raised his coffee mug while he was reading his new paper in the dining table

"Good morning, Max" I greeted him and looked around and saw Mrs. Wood serving pancakes and Oliver who's head is down in the table with his arms supporting it.

"Mr. Oliver Wood! Who told you to sleep in the dining table?!" Mrs. Wood scolded him and he immediately fixed his posture and sat straight as he rub his eyes

"Seems like somebody wasn't in their bed last night when I check past midnight" Max whispered as he peaked in the newspaper that he was holding up in his face. He winked at us

"Merlin's beard! We're almost late for work Maxwell!" Mrs. Wood said and she took out her apron and Mr. Wood got up and finished his coffee, "Have a good day kids!" She said as she took out her wand

"Abigail, your shoes" Mr. Wood said and Gail looked at her feet and realized that she's wearing slippers and immediately took them out and wore her heels and they disapparated
