The Truth of the Past

"Help!" I shouted as my hand starting slipping from the roots that I am holding on, "Ah!" I screamed when I finally lose my grip on the roots but someone lucky caught my arm

"Hold on!" said a voice, a guy's voice to be exact

"I'm slipping!" I said as I held his hand tighter

"I can't get you up!" he shouted as he held my arm and tried pulling me up but I'm too heavy even though I'm skinny and malnourished

"No!" he shouted when he lost his grip and I fell, I felt the wind in my face as fell in the wide ocean, I closed my eyes when my body finally touched the water

I started seeing a figure, it's not me it's a guy. He fell in the water too but he was dragged into the water by an unknown thing. I opened my eyes and saw the guy from earlier dived in the water and reaching for me as I fell deeper in the ocean

He finally reached my hand and dragged me up and to the land, I coughed as we reached the rocky land, he caressed my back, "You saved me..." I said after my cough stopped and looked at him, "Thank you" I thanked him

"No problem..." he stopped when I hugged him, he went stiff but caressed my back.

"Paris, my name is Paris" I introduced myself, my parents always called me Paris instead of my first name which is Agape, so I've grown to like it

"Oliver, Oliver Wood...."

I sat down my bed as I remembered my dream, it wasn't a dream...it's a memory. The memory when I almost died, when my parents abandoned me at the side of the cliff. I shook my head and looked outside the window, it's still dark outside. I turned to the clock in my nightstand and saw that it was 3 am in the morning.

Suddenly, I heard someone crying, I looked around and saw Trisha's bed isn't occupied. I stood up and walked over her bed and there I saw her at the side her bed sitting down and crying, "Trisha..." I called her name, she looked up and I saw her puffy eyes from crying, "Hey why are you crying?" I asked as I sat down beside her and caressed her back

"Poppy and I always go to trips at the end of the school year....every year, we don't miss a year..." she said in between her sobs

"Well you could go on a trip for her, go somewhere and take her with you, she's always by your side Trish..." I said and hugged her tightly as she cried in my shoulders

"Oliver!" I called him when I saw him passing by the hallways

"What?" He asked so coldly

"What's wrong with you? Why are you so grumpy ever since yesterday?" I asked him and he looked at me with a blank expression

"It's nothing" he said and continued walking but I blocked his way

"Seriously Oliver, what the bloody hell is wrong with you?" I asked him again but instead of giving me an answer, he rolled his eyes and dragged me in a dark hallway where there's no students
