Chapter 56 ~ Fell Asleep

~ Alex's POV ~

I got downstairs with Ali to see Lloyd trying to hold Braydon with all the energy he had left.

"Here's your coffee." He said pushing it to me. I took it and drank it.

Even the coffee energy wasn't enough at this point.

We went into the living room and we both flopped onto the sofa and both fell asleep straight away.

~ Ali's POV ~

They flopped onto the sofa and fell asleep instantly. They must have been tired.

I got off slowly taking their coffee cups so they wouldn't spill.

I put them on the table.

I then went upstairs to my room and got one of my grey blankets.

I went back down and put the blanket over them, making them comfy.

I then nearly tripped over one of Brandon's bags.

Some things fell out. I started to stuff them back in when I saw something.

"To keep him calm." A note says attached to a pacifier.

My eyes widened and a smile crept off my face.

I went over to Braydon and saw he was waking up.

I shoved the pacifier in his mouth. He started sucking on it and he smiled.

He slid of Daddy and Dada and smiled.

"There it is." He said under it.

"I found it." I said.

"Thank you." He said.

"No problem." I said.

"Listen, I'm sorry about what I did. I have behaviour issues." He said.

"It's okay." I smiled.

"I made these guys a nightmare." He said. "I'm going to go to bed."

"Okay, I'll be down here." I said. He smiled as he went off.

I looked at Alex and Lloyd. I went over and kissed them both on the forehead.

I then started tidying up all my toys and stuff in the floor.

I tidied my room, their room and the kitchen.

A little bit later it was lunch time.

Not wanting to wake them I just got onto the counter and got some bread. I put some cheese into it and got myself a drink of water.

I ate it sat at the table and pretended Alex and Lloyd were there.

I felt good that they were finally getting sleep.

While I was in the hall playing with my cars I saw Braydon come down the stairs. He had his pacifier in his mouth.

"Oh hi." I smiled.

"Hello. Can I play?" He asked.

"Sure." I smiled giving him a car.

"I made you some lunch." I said pushing a plate close to him.

"Thank you." He smiled.

We must have been there for a while as I saw Alex come round the corner.

He stared in shock at me and Braydon playing.

He opens his mouth to speak but nothing came out.

"Hello Daddy, did you sleep well?" I asked, passing Braydon the red car. Braydon smiled at me.

"Umm... well yes I did but-." He stuttered.

"But?" I questioned.

He then snapped out of it.

"Oh nothing." He smiled. He then walked off.

"I wonder what that was about." He asked.

"Yeah, oh well... shall we race blue and yellow?" I asked.

"Yes yes!" He smiled.

~ Alex POV ~

I walked out the hall where Ali and Braydon were...playing.

I went to Lloyd with wide eyes.

"What up?" He asked way more energised than before.

"I can't explain, just follow me." I said taking his hand.

I dragged him to the hall and peeped round the corner seeing them playing and laughing.

Lloyd just stared his mouth wide open.

"Am I dreaming?" He asked.

"We must be." I said.

Lloyd went over to them and they didn't look up. They just carried on.

"Hey Ali." Lloyd said crouching down.

"Oh hi Dada, you sleep well?" She asked.

"Um..yes." He stuttered. "Braydon are you okay?" He asked.

"Fine thanks." He said.

"Okay then, okay." He said getting up and walking away.

"We are defiantly dreaming." Lloyd said.

"Why are you dreaming Dada?" I heard Ali call.

I went and crouched down by her.

"Ali pinch me." I said. She shook her head.

"Braydon pinch me." I said. He shook his head.

Ali then touched my head. I then realised I wasn't dreaming.

"Thanks." I said walking away.

I walked to the kitchen and just stared.

"We aren't dreaming." I said to Lloyd.

"We must be." He said.

"This is real." I said.

"I'm just going to um.. yeah." Lloyd said going off to his office.

"Yeah." I said to myself.

~ A while later ~

I came back into the hall peeping round the corner.

They were still happily laughing.

I had to find out if Ali hypnotised him or something.

I went over and crouched down next to them.

"Hi Daddy, can we have some more cars please?" She asked.

"Sure but, can we have a small talk?" I asked taking her hand.

"Sure, I'll be back and we can race green and purple." She smiled at Braydon. He nodded.

I took her round the corner and crouched down.

"How?" Was the only word I could speak. She giggled.

"Tripped over his suitcase and found this note." She said passing it to me. I read it.

"To keep him calm." It said. I looked at her.

"There note was attached to a pacifier." She smiled. I looked round the corner to see a pacifier in his mouth. I felt the world get lighter.

I just wrapped my arms round her and hugged her tightly.

"Ali you are an absolute genius!" I smiled. She giggled.

"Can I go play with him now?" She asked. I pulled away.

"Sure!" I smiled. She kissed me on the cheek and she then ran back over to him.

I just went to the kitchen to make some food.
