When He Xing brought Gian on stage, the host's expression was first confused, then shocked a few seconds later. He frequently cast his eyes at the store manager behind him.

As the host, he had the list of contestants as well as the program, but only the name of the dragon cub was written on the list and the name Gian was not special. The hosts and staff didn't think that it would be the Crown Prince's little Gian at first; after all, who knew that the Crown Prince's little dragon cub would be competing in a robotics competition held at such a branch?

When He Xing came, he was wearing a mask and only took it off on stage to be polite. The parents of the dragon cubs waiting backstage with him didn't recognize He Xing.

The host suppressed their excitement and took the microphone to speak. "It's a great honour to invite His Royal Highness and Gian to join us in the competition. Everyone must be familiar with these two!"

The host occasionally watched Shen Mian's live broadcasts, so he had some impressions of the few little dragon cubs in the centre. "This is His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince, currently teaching at a childcare centre and this gem dragon cub is Gian from the Qiming Childcare Centre."

He Xing, "??"
Why wasn't this process the same? Don't you have to first ask what his relationship with Gian was? Maybe they'll be able to ask something that's pleasantly surprising and headline-worthy?

The host had enthusiastically started talking to Gian, with the store manager dropping hints, the brand being frequently mentioned in the conversation.

He Xing, who had only said one sentence since coming on stage, "..."
Originally, he wanted to do something, but it seemed that things were not going to work out and the brand was rubbing off on the heat created.

The flow machine Marshal He slowly turned his head- too bad, he had to complain to the dean when he got back.

There were only a few little dragon cubs in the opening competition and most of the robots that came out were pretty crude. There was even a robot that lost an arm on the spot while performing a command action. There were also two dragon cubs with major components that were manufactured by another branch of this smart goods store.

Gian's little robot was stiff and sluggish and was already the most outstanding piece of work compared to all the other robots that were oddly shaped with missing arms and limbs.

First place undoubtedly belonged to Gian. The prize was very generous- a new parts kit from the brand's manufacturer, at a market price of 688 star coins and a prize of 500 star coins.
While promoting the event at the time, the store only said that it would drop generous prizes and the specific prizes were not disclosed, but what was prepared inside was a set of classic parts packs, temporarily replaced with new parts packs, and an envelope with 500 star coins wrapped inside.

Gian opened the envelope when he got back to the suspension car and pulled out five blue tickets from it, pleasantly surprised. "Uncle, look!"

Marshal He, who failed to achieve his goal, turned around. "Hm?"

Gian, "Joining competitions really does make a lot of money!"

The little gem dragon squeezed his little paws. "I'm going to compete in the biggest competition ever!"

He Xing immediately became energetic. "Then let Uncle accompany you as well in the future."

Gian snuggled trustingly against He Xing. "Yeah!"

These five hundred star coins meant a lot to Gian. It was the first time he had been rewarded for his exposure to a new field and the first time Gian had received so many star coins in one go.

As the suspension car passed by the last mall in the neighbourhood, Gian couldn't help but speak. "Uncle."

He Xing turned his head. The dragon cub in the backseat squeezed the envelope tightly in his hand, so he asked, "Do you want to buy something?"

Gian, "I want to give the dean and the other dragon cubs gifts."

He Xing readily agreed, found a parking spot to stop the suspension car and took the little dragon cub into the mall.

......

Gian came back with his big tail raised and with a big bag of presents hanging from the front part of the crystal spine, not caring to wait for He Xing. He first ran and found the dragon cubs gathered in the living room- it was Friday, there were no classes for the next two days. Xing Fei and the others came back to the villa to stay.

Rhein ate so many small snacks, he didn't want to move and laid on all fours in Dean Shen's arms.

Today was also the day that the childcare teacher specialising in calligraphy reported and the little dragon cubs had an extra lesson in handwriting while Gian was out competing. Lu Yuan, who had the ugliest handwriting, laid on Shen Mian's lap, wilting and also not wanting to move, the back of his head being patted by the dean.

Shen Mian had two little dragon cubs on top of him and didn't have time to get up when he heard Gian enter the door.

Qin Yi had been lying on Xing Fei's tail counting her scales and was the closest to the door. She purposely flew up to help Gian carry the bags and she knew as soon as she looked at them that Gian had won the match and had gotten the prize money. "Gian won the match, right?"

Gian nodded vigorously and because he was in dragon form, his blush couldn't be seen, but the leap in his tone couldn't be hidden. "Yeah. There was a prize of 500 star coins for the match! I've got presents for everyone! I'll do it, it's not heavy at all."
He spent three hundred star coins on gifts, leaving two hundred star coins to be returned to Rhein – and at Gian's insistence, Shen Mian didn't help him return Rhein's two hundred star coins.

Qin Yi herself was a large-sized dragon cub and knew that this weight to the dragon cub was like hanging Rhein on his tail and had almost no feeling, so she laid back down to continue counting scales.

Gian put down the gifts and solemnly told Shen Mian, "Dean, I got first place!"

It wasn't a surprise to Shen Mian. He thought it would be a good fit for Gian when he saw that little competition, which was small enough to encourage the cub to try that direction. "I knew my cubs would be very outstanding."

Gian got a compliment and couldn't help but wag his tail, then quickly stopped. "I even bought gifts!"

The gem dragon cub took each gift out.

The first gifts to be given out were for the dragon cubs:
He bought an exquisite travel brochure for Xing Fei, 45 star coins.
He gifted a lazy cub sofa for Rhein, 52 star coins.
He got a metal toy gun for Qin Yi, 56 star coins.

Shen Mian could tell that these were all gifts that Gian had chosen according to the preferences of the little dragon cubs. He quietly kept watching Gian give the gifts one by one and when he got exclamations and gratitude from the other cubs, the gem dragon cub lowered his head and wagged his tail in embarrassment.
The cubs at the centre were all little dragon cubs that got along well with each other and Gian was a natural at sharing his happiness- buying gifts for the cubs not out of a sense that he should, but out of a heartfelt willingness for the humans or dragons around him to share the happiness he had.

The little gem dragon with the hardest outer appearance had the softest heart.

He was thinking this, but of course, the other dragon cubs didn't know. The little dragon cubs who got presents looked at each other's. The only one who didn't get a present, Lu Yuan, didn't wilt at all, his little short tail wagging at Gian. "Where's mine? Where's mine?"

Gian solemnly took out a thick plastic box from the bottom of the bag, opened it up and handed it to Lu Yuan.

Lu Yuan, "Is it a jigsaw on the interstellar?!"

Gian, "It's a copybook."

Lu Yuan's wagging tail froze.

Copybook?
Copybook?!

Gian crouched down and rubbed Lu Yuan's forehead. "The dean said your writing is too ugly."
