It's been a few weeks since I've started working, and I'm honestly exhausted. Luke's been getting busier as well, now that everybody at the company has gotten settled in.

Obviously that's fine, we're both adults, time apart is actually good for us. I'm so happy with how things are going, Luke has been so perfect.

"Kelsey!" Ashton calls, entering my room.

"Yes?" I question, half asleep.

"Oh, are you asleep?"

"No. I'm trying to not fall asleep. Come in." I weakly giggle, waving him over.

Ashton smiles, closing the door behind him and coming to join me in my bed.

"How's work going?"

I shrug, "It's fine. I'm still searching for something in my field, it'll come eventually."

"Luke brought up me working at his company again the other day, I swear I might kill him."

Ashton laughs, "I know you don't mean that. You'd literally die for him."

I laugh, shaking my head at him, "I mean, you're not wrong. I'm fucking in love with that idiot. I probably always will be at this point, it's been so long."

"Do you think you and Luke will get married again?" He nervously asks, scared he's going to set something off.

Pausing for a moment, I debate wether I should tell him the truth or not. It's something I've been thinking about a lot. I decide I might as well be honest with him, I'll end up being truthful at some point.

Nodding, I weakly smile, "I do, yeah. Honestly, Ash... I'd marry him tomorrow if he asked."

"What?" Ashton yells.

"Hear me out. If it was anybody else in any other situation... I would never say that. Luke and I have been married before. We never stopped loving each other, there were just some pretty bad fuck ups along the way. I'm glad we did divorce, we got to see what else was out there. But I never really stopped loving him."

"Honestly, even though you two were super messy, you guys are so cute."

I laugh, "I know. It's been a wild ride. But I've never been happier. I know Luke will never fuck up like that again. I'd never make him feel that awful again. We were kids then. I know we're still young, but we've both experienced a lot of life since we first got married."

"Wait, I'm actually really excited. I'm so happy for you."

"Okay, we aren't getting married yet. We aren't engaged. We haven't even talked about it."

"You should talk about it! After everything you two have gone through, you should be discussing things like this."

"Yeah, we should. We need to make sure we're on the same page. I don't want to try this again for it to not work out because we don't agree on our future." I tell him,  trying to hold back a smile. Luke and I are definitely on the same page. It's getting me excited, thinking about the future with Luke.

"I can see how happy you are, stop trying to hide it." Ashton chuckles, moving closer to me as he tightly hugs me, rocking me back and forth.

"I am happy! I don't know, there's just something inside that makes me think you're all judging me for getting back with him."

"Kelsey! Are you crazy!" Ashton yells, pulling away from me. He's looking at me like I have three heads.

I shrug, "I just... I want to make sure."
