Chapter 24: The Forgiveness

Y/N pov

I woke in a hospital in Stohess, I was about to move, but I felt a weight on my right hand, I turn ever so slowly and saw sleeping Mikasa holding my hand, with the scarf wrapped around our hands, I wasn't going to blame her, or anyone in the matter of fact. I understand their suspicion, out of nowhere I started healing myself, I am an idiot, but still, trying to kill me right away,  without hesitation was a almost like history repeating itself, when I was ten years old. Using my left hand, I felt my throat, another entry wound, this time, by a gun and not my own sword. It's still hurts, so I groaned a little, this shook Mikasa, she woke up and frantically looks around before looking at me

Mikasa: Y/N? *teary eyes*

Y/N: Hi.

Mikasa: *sniffs* Thank the walls *peck Y/N's lips* How are you feeling?

Y/N: Better.

Mikasa: Y/N, I'm sorry..... I'm so sorry, I am so sorr- *sob*

Y/N: It's alright Mikasa *takes right hand out of her grip and the loose scarf to caress her face and wiping her tear* I'm not blaming you, or Mason *She then purred again in my grip*.

Mikasa: What about Erwin and Levi?

Y/N: I will have a talk with them late- *nerve pain* Gah.....

Mikasa: Don't strain yourself, even if you're healing is still quick-

Y/N: Yeah, doesn't mean it'll heal within seconds.

Mikasa: But what was that back in the expedition?

Y/N: I'll explain to you when the time comes Mikasa...

Mikasa: Why not know?

Y/N: Because I'm not ready yet.

Y/N: You don't have to blame yourself for every time I am injured or accused for

Mikasa: You could've died.... again!

Y/N: But I am still here. 

Then, a nurse entered she saw me and Mikasa, with permission, she checked on my wound, changing the bandage, once completed, I could see a jealous Mikasa looking at me with the nurse

Medical personnel: You wound is healing quickly, this has never happened before but, I guess you can be discharge in 4 hours, for another check on the bandage.

Y/N: Thank you miss....

Medical personnel: Sarah... Doctor Sarah Brozka

I got wide eyes for a second and she notices it, this could be Jason's sister? I don't want to make assumptions but I had to.

Y/N: Are you related to Jason Brozka?

Sarah: My baby brother *sad face* That idiot, if only he joined the MPs, he would still be alive.

Y/N: Jason was my best friend.

Sarah: You're were in his squad

Y/N: The leader.

Sarah: Please can you tell me what happened to him?

I explained what happened to her, and how her beloved brother dies, she was of course in tears.

Sarah: He promised to come home, how is he going to put his vest now?
