Chapter 50: The Outer Walls

Y/N: So, this is it.

 Eren: There is a boulder

Eren grabbed a log, with the help from Mikasa and me, we set aside the boulder and saw the basement still looking fine.

Hange: Hmm, I'm surprised it's not flooded.

As Eren tried to open the basement door, the key was too big.

Levi: Tch *kick the door open*

Y/N: Can you break a chain with that foot?

Levi: I knocked your teeth out the last time I kicked you.

Y/N: Touché 

Mikasa: When!?

As we enter, Eren first then Erwin, then the rest of us, we scan around the area and found nothing but doctor's equipment.

Eren: Is this it?

Y/N: No, *slams left hand on table* There are three books in the table in a secret compartment.. here, *points a keyhole*

Eren's key fits the keyhole and he opens up the compartment into an empty drawer, Levi places his hands inside the compartment and open up a second layer, inside it contains three books, Eren took one out and opened it, a small portrait can be seen.

Y/N: This is too detailed to be a painting.

Eren flips the portrait and it explains that, the portrait is a photograph, from a camera. In there Mr. Jaeger explained his story and where he come from.

After the whole explanation, still Y/N pov

Eren: Dad hid this from us?

Y/N: That explains Bertholdt, and Eldians.

Eren: Dad.... *mood changes*

Erwin: Amazing, we are not alone after all.

Y/N: *mumbling* Eden....

Mikasa: Y/N?

Y/N: War never ends doesn't it?

After we got out of the basement, the eleven of us; me, Mikasa, Eren, Armin, Sasha, Connie, Bertholdt, Jean, Erwin, Levi and Hange, decided to go to the out of the walls. Moblit was to sent the books back to Mitras under the care of Mason and Historia.

Armin: Eren?

Eren: They are not the enemies after all.

Mikasa: Eren, are you okay?

Eren: *stares into blankness*

Y/N: Alright, we're moving out now.

We rode for hours and hours, Bertholdt was using a dead scout's horse and was close to me, we then stopped when we saw a titan that had a crawl mark, that spreads far away.

Levi: Should I put it out?

Eren: He used to be an Eldian, fighting for his rights and freedom.

Y/N: Stay your blade Levi.... Eren? *Eren turns his head towards me but slightly* Are you okay?

Eren: Let's go.

Mikasa: Is he okay?

Y/N: We all know what he read and saw, come on let's go.

Mikasa: Okay.

We rode out leaving the titan be and after another 30 minutes, we saw another wall and a hill, we rode towards it and at the top, we saw the sea, Armin was right. Everyone except me and Eren, were surprised to see a giant bed of water. We all ride down do a soft dirt like ground, Armin, said this was sand, everyone took out their equipment, boots and socks, except Levi of course.
