I was an asshole.
Holy fuck,
Seeing Willow cry.
Literally, tears running down her face.
Her breathing heavy and her body shaking.
It hurt.
It hurt more than anything iv ever seen before.
I caused this.
I caused her this pain.
"Listen.. Will.." I let go of her frail body a little to see her face.
She sniffled.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean too.. I don't mean too.."
I couldn't get it out.
I didn't do these things.
I didn't apologize.
And I swear for the first time in months, years.
I felt my own eyes getting wet.
All those things she said.
I knew they were true.
I felt something for this girl, something iv never felt with anyone else.
And I wanted to admit that to myself, to Willow.
"Can we go back to your house? I don't wanna go home"
I looked at her a moment, she wasn't crying as hard, but I wiped the last tear away with my thumb.
Jesus, I never wanted to see her in this much pain again.
"Of course. Just um... Buckle up and I'll get us home.."
"To my house" I corrected myself.
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and biting my bottom lip.
Before turning and starting the engine.
