"Yeah.. Yeah I'm fine just let her know I'll see her tomorrow, okay.. Thank you"

I watched Willow press the end button to her iPhone.

I suggested that she call Ally and see if Penelope could stay another night.

I didn't want her going home.

"Everything settled"?

She nodded. Her hair held up in a bun, her eyes puffy and red and she sniffled every few seconds.

I didn't know how to tell Willow that I felt all those things she said in the car.

I didn't know how to explain to her that I don't mean to push her away and then take her back and then push her away again.

I wanted to love this girl.

I wanted to be everything and anything she needed me to be.

But I couldn't.

I couldn't drag her into my life.

Willow didn't know me like she thought she did.

"Do you wanna lay down"?

I asked, we were standing in my room.

I leaned against the door frame, watching her facial expressions and the way she fiddled with her fingers.

She always seemed so sure of herself, like she knew exactly what was happening at all times and she had everything figured out.

But when she said all that stuff about not wanting to go home and her family... Maybe I didn't know her, like I thought I did.

"Willow"?

"Yeah" she sat down on my bed.

"Last night... When, when you took a shower."

I didn't want to say it, unsure of how she'd react.

"I saw"

"The bruises"?

She cut me off.

I nodded this time.

I saw them faintly streaked down her sides and just below her belly button.

"What happened"

She looked down at the wooden floor.

Starting to bite on her finger nails again.

I realized, in that moment of silence before she answered.

I was scared.. Terrified of the answer.

It brought me back to that day in the woods by the bridge, when I saw the bruise on her cheek an all the life got sucked from her face when I asked her what had happened.

Now she just stared blankly, but she wasn't scared.

"My dad"

My fists clenched.

"He's been doing it sense I was little"

My cheeks got hot.

"Me, pen... My mom" Her voice cracked.

My heart was beating so fast.

"Every little thing Iv ever done.. Was so.." The water began to drip down her face again.

"Wrong"

I was breathing heavy.

I couldn't fucking believe what I was hearing.

I didn't want to believe it.

He.. He hit her?

"That fucking asshole"

I could feel my body growing with anger.

"Shawn it's.." She looked at me, noticing it as well.

"It's okay. I'm okay" She stood up.

I backed up, out of the doorway and into the hall.

I wanted to punch something.

I wanted to fucking kill this guy id never seen in my life.

He hurt her.

"Where do you live."

I was gonna kill him.

"Shawn.." She walked towards me.

"No. Willow. Tell me.. Please" My knuckles began to ache.

"Shawn. I'm okay" She placed both hands on my cheeks, looking at me with her gentle eyes.

"He.. He hurt you" I said the words I was repeating to myself in my head outloud.

"He hurt you"

And that's when it stopped.

Her lips touched mine.

Her hands cupped my face and I deepened what was happening.

Letting my own hands slide on her back and hold her.

Every kiss iv ever had.

Every girl iv ever had my hands on.

Every body iv ever seen and touched.

No one was like Willow.

No one.
