birthday headcannons #3 | the elite

♡ spending your birthday with kenny omega, adam cole, and the young bucks, although a chill occasion, is nothing short of fun. it's really just five friends hanging out, but you get free stuff and they're nice to you the whole day

♡ if either of them even teases you a little bit, you playfully glare at them and remind them it's your birthday and slander is not allowed

♡ to start off the day, you guys go to the mall and shop for things you like, but not before getting your coffee/tea fix

♡ then you go to your favorite stores and pick some stuff out. you treat yourself because it is your birthday after all. they also aren't allowed to complain if you're asking them whether a particular clothing piece looks better than you than the other ones you picked out

♡ after that, you guys go to the sneakers store as per the request of the young bucks. of course, they buy more outrageously expensive nikes -- brandon was filming for being the elite when nick turned to him with both middle fingers up, "it's retail price, you marks". this time though, they ask you to pick one that you like and once you have, they bought it for you as a gift

♡ what you didn't know what that as you were perusing the racks, matt and nick were also looking for three identical ones so that you guys could match. they ended up buying you two pairs of nikes for your birthday

♡ when you guys were done there, kenny and adam said they had to go to the video game store and check something out. you knew it was something they've been looking forward to for a while now. you heard them excitedly and enthusiastically talking about it in the locker room more than a few times in the past few months

♡ while they were looking for the video game, you were also looking at ones that interested you. at one point, you became so engrossed in reading the print in the packaging of one that you didn't notice adam in front of you, video game he wanted in hand. he picked up the game you were holding, inspecting it and smiled

♡ "this one's good. you've never played it before?"

♡ when you shook your head at him, he headed off to the counter. "consider this my birthday present to you then."

♡ after that, you guys went and had lunch at your favorite restaurant then proceeded to hang out in your house where you played the video game and broke in the new nikes so that when you wore it to work, they would be comfortable

♡ kenny and adam both helped you out in figuring out all the controls and generally everything you needed to know. they even gave you some tips and hints

♡ when you decided you wanted to play something else, kenny - to no one's surprise - suggested to play a few rounds of street fighter. you found yourself unable to refuse when he taunted your competitive nature, asking if you were too chicken to play with him

♡ much to your delight and to adam, matt, and nick's entertainment though, you won 6-4

♡ little did you know, he let you win because he didn't want to see you upset -- or at least that's what he told himself

♡ once kenny started sulking in the sofa with his arms across his chest, matt, the dad of the group that he is, suggested that you just watch a movie and have a light snack so that's exactly what you guys did for a while

♡ you put on your favorite movie for you and your friends to watch and set a bowl of your favorite snack onto the coffee table before kicking back and relaxing for a while

♡ when you started shivering because of the temperature of the room, the elite's local human heater, kenny omega put his arm around you, video game loses forgotten

♡ at around seven in the evening, long after the movie was done, you guys went and had a nice, small dinner to close off your special day
