Dahyun - Happiness

Short chapter just like Dahyun's height.

Y/N POV

"Have you been in love before?" The interviewer asked.

"Yes, I have" I said.

Flashback...

"I love you" She said as she smiled at me.

"I love you, Dahyun" I said and she blushed.

"I'm so lucky to have you" She said "Why is that?" I asked.

"You accept me and understand me all the time" She said.

"I'm the lucky one here" I said "I'm dating you, The Kim Dahyun while I'm just no one" I said.

"Y/N, you're not just no one. I love you the most" She said "What if you didn't?" I asked.

"That's impossible. I'm madly in love with you" She said and I giggled.

"Thank you" I said "For what?" She asked.

"For everything" I said and she caressed my cheeks.

"I never did anything for you to thank me" She said.

"You do" I said "Welcome, I guess. Thank you also for staying by my side" She said.

"You'll stay, right?" She hesitantly asked and I nodded.

"You know I will" I said and smiled.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your lovely time but Dahyun needs to go now" Her manager said.

She looked at me "Sorry" She said "You don't have to. You have to go now" I said and hugged her.

"I'll call you when I can" She said and I nodded.

"Tell the girls I said hi" I said and she nodded.

"I'll see you soon" She said and I nodded.

Present...

"And I don't want to fall in love again" I added and smiled.

Flashback...

"Dahyun!" I called as I visit her at their company.

I approached her with the biggest smile on my face.

"Hey, Y/N" She greeted "Why are you here?" She asked.

"I wanted to surprise you" I said and she nodded.

"That's it? No hugs or kisses?" I asked and pouted.

"You can't be here" She said "Why?" I asked.

"Uhm, we have something to do" She stuttered.

"Are you sure? Your manager told me that you're free for the rest of the day" I said as I furrow my brows.

"Well, uhm, change of plans" She said.

"Why are you stuttering? You don't usually stutter" I asked knowing that there is absolutely something wrong.

"Tell me what wrong" I said and she sighed.

"Us, Y/N" She said "What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"This is not right anymore. I love someone else now" She said.

There goes my love life.

"Oh" I said clearly don't know what to say.

She's breaking up with me because she loves someone else, okay.

"That's it?" I asked and she nodded.

"I'm sorry" She apologized.

"Break up after years of dating? You told me we'll get married" I said.

"Things have changed, Y/N. I've been wanting to tell you about this for a long time now" She said.

"Where did it go wrong?" I asked.

"Y/N, I don't know" She said and sighed.

"Please, go now" She said.

She's pushing me away now.

Come on, let's not push ourselves to people.

I left the place and went home.

I didn't know what to do except for crying.

I have no Dahyun in my life now.

Present...

"Are you okay?" The interviewer asked and I nodded.

"Did you hear about thet news?" He asked.

"Momo and Dahyun are getting married" He said and I nodded.

"You're pretty close with the group so I thought I might ask" He said and I nodded.

"I'm so happy for them" I said.

"They make the perfect couple" I said and smiled.

You're getting married and I'm finding someone who'll spend the life with me.

I wish you the happiness you deserve.

I wish for myself to also find the happiness I deserve.

Life may be tough at times but let's find the things that make us happy.

Even little things matter.

I always thought that happiness is a place.

But maybe it's a path to fully find yourself.
