Chapter 36 - Lena helps

Next Morning

As you are starting to wake up, you twitch just right and scream in pain. Wanda wakes up and tries to comfort you but nothing she does is helping.

Wanda: FRIDAY, call Nat and Alex in here NOW!

FRIDAY: Right away

Alex & Nat come running in and sees you in tears and Wanda explains what happened and that she has tried everything. Wanda is crying, so Nat calms down Wanda while Alex helps you. Alex gives you some meds to help with the pain but also some to help you sleep.

Nat: Wanda, it's ok. Alex is helping her. Shh, it's ok. I got you

Wanda: *crying* I tried but couldn't take the pain. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry

Nat: Wanda, stop. It's not your fault. You tried. Please calm down

Just as Alex got you to sleep, Nat calmed down Wanda, Lena and Kara came walking in and asked what's up. Alex explains what happened. Lena offers to help Alex and to see if some of her tech can help your arm and help the healing. Kara picks you up and takes you to the lab, Alex and Lena do another x-ray on your arm and sees that your elbow has healed but your wrist and forearm are still healing. They take off the old cast and Lena puts on one of her high-tech projects to help with healing and they both wait for you to wake up. Nat helped Wanda calm down and they walked down to the kitchen and make breakfast for everyone. After 20 minutes, Lena, Kara and Alex come walking into the kitchen and let's everyone know what is going on

Wanda: Alex, Lena, any news?

Lena: She should be awake in like 2 hours. About 2 weeks and she should be healed about 90%

Alex: You can go up but just remember, she will be out of it for sometime when she wakes up

Wanda: Thank you

But before Wanda moves anywhere, Kara hugs her and says to be there for her. She loves you. Wanda hugs Kara back then pulls away and mouths thanks. Wanda heads up to the room and lays down next to you and waits for you to wake up. After about 2 hours, you start to wake up and see Wanda cuddled up to you, so you kiss her head and she starts to wake up and sees that you are awake. Just as she kisses you, Alex and Lena walk in

Lena: Hey Y/N, how do you feel now?

Y/N: Better thanks. Love, I'm sorry

Alex: Okay, so that will come off in like 2-3 weeks and should be 90% healed by then.

Lena: No showering while it's on but baths/sponge baths are fine. It just can't get wet

Y/N: Ok thank you

Lena & Alex: Your Welcome

Alex and Wanda help you up and you all go downstairs to get some food because you were hungry. After getting some food, Wanda and Kara asks if you wanted to hang out with them and Lena today.

Y/N: Sounds good

Lena: Kara and Wanda were talking about a waterfall and possibly a walk if your up to it

Y/N: Kara, are you talking about that waterfall with the two cliffs by each other?

Kara: Yes, but you will be fine. You have us with you. Promise you will be ok

Lena: If it hurts to much to go, we can find something else to do

Y/N: No it's fine. I need to let go of the hurt and make new happy memories to cover over the bad ones

Wanda: You sure, love?

Y/N: Yes, I'm sure. Let's go

Lena, Kara, Wanda and you all grab some water bottles and head out to the car, after a 15 minute car ride, you all arrive and park. You all get out of the car and start the 3 mile hike back to the waterfall. The last ¼ mile, you start to slow down walking a bit but think of happy thoughts. Lena notices and falls back to where you have stopped.
