Chapter 82 - Run

You walk into her room with some meds and water when you saw that she was awake and looking at her phone.

Y/N: Morning mom. How are you feeling?

Nat: I'm ok. Heads not too bad. Good morning sweetheart. How do you feel?

Y/N: Not hungover really. I threw up last night, so I am good. Doesn't mum come back soon?

Nat: Yah she does. Are you sure you're going to be ok not seeing me every day when I move to Alex's Earth?

Y/N: It will be an adjustment, but I think that I will be ok. I have dad, Laura, Wanda, the kids, and the team if I am struggling that bad. I know that I can always come see you guys if I want

Nat: That is very true. Thanks for the meds

Y/N: You're welcome. So, what are you doing today?

Nat: Well, I need to train for a bit then I am headed on a mission with Steve, Tony, and Sam. We are getting some files from Hydra. It should only be a day, so I should be back around late tomorrow night. We leave late tonight

Y/N: Ok and please be careful. I hate seeing you hurt and there's nothing that I can do about it

Nat: I won't. I am always careful. I need to come back to you and Alex

Y/N: Good. Well, I am off to the music room and then on a run for a bit

Nat: Ok. Please be careful sweetheart

Y/N: I will mom. I will call or text you if I need you when I am on my run

Nat: Ok

You hugged Nat then went to the music room to go get the rest of your music ready for Friday when you meet with Matt again. By the time you made it to the music room, it was 10:15 am so you had FRIDAY set a timer for 1:30 pm. You listened to all the songs that you had and put the ones that you wanted to release into one folder while the others went into another folder. Once you got the songs that you wanted to show Matt, you looked at the others that you have written and try to get the music to the lyrics right. You get about another two songs done when the timer was going off, so you take a break and get changed into workout clothes and head to the kitchen. You grab a quick PB&J sandwich and then fill up your water pack for your run. Just as you were headed out the door, Steve stopped you.

Steve: Hey Y/N, where you headed?

Y/N: On a run for a bit before heading back to work on some more of my music

Steve: Do you want a running partner?

Y/N: Not today but when you get back from your mission sure

Steve: Ok. Deal. How many miles you going to do today?

Y/N: I'm thinking 10 miles today

Steve: Ok. Have a great run

Y/N: Thanks Steve and be safe on the mission

Steve: Always

You leave the compound and start your watch to record your run. After about 2 hours of running, you take a break and realize that you have done more than 10 miles, that you did 18 miles, so you turn around and head back to the compound. On the way back, you ran out of water, so you call Nat.

On Phone with Nat

Nat: Hey sweetheart, what's up?

Y/N: When do you leave again?

Nat: In like 2 hours, why?

Y/N: Well, I sort of ran out of water and ran further than I thought and I'm starting to run back but I think that I need a ride please

Nat: Where you at?

Y/N: About half hour from the compound. I'm starting to shake

Nat: Ok. I'm on my way. Just take a deep breath and find a bench. I will be there soon

Y/N: Thanks mom

Nat: No problem

End phone call

You walk another mile and sit on the bench waiting for Nat to get you. After about 5 minutes, you found it hard to breathe and realized you were going into a seizure, so you laid down on the bench and waited for it to pass. That episode lasted for about five minutes because by the time you looked up, Nat was next to you helping you. Once you calmed down enough to move, you slowly got up and Nat helped you to the car. You took some slow deep breaths before you spoke.

Nat: You ok there, love?

Y/N: I am now. I over did it by a lot

Nat: Steve said you were running 10 miles today but by the looks of it, you didn't realize where you should have stopped and turned around at.

Y/N: I ran 18 miles before I realized than ran back 3 miles before I called you. So went a total of 21 miles before I had a seizure. I promise that I'm taking my meds, but I am still having them. This is the third one in the last four days

Nat: Alex comes back Saturday morning; we can ask her about it when she gets back if you want

Y/N: Sure, that's fine. I was hoping to work on a few more songs tonight but I guess not. I need to rest

Nat: Yes, you do. Here let me help you

Y/N: Thanks

Once you both get back, Nat helped you out of the car and helps you to the couch to relax. Once you sit down, Nat takes off your water pack and gives you a blanket so that you can relax. Nat walks into the kitchen to grab you some food and then Wanda walks in asks Nat where you are at.

Wanda: Hey Nat, where's Y/N?

Nat: On the couch relaxing

Wanda: Is she ok?

Nat: She went for a run, ran a lot further than what she meant to, ran out of water, and called me to grab her. When she was waiting for me, she had a seizure. She wants to work on more music, but she is relaxing because in her words "she over did it by a lot."

Wanda: How many miles did she run?

Nat: Total of 21 miles. She doubled what she wanted to run

Wanda: Ok. When do you leave?

Nat: In like an hour and will be back tomorrow night

Wanda: Sounds good

Y/N: Bubba! Mom! I need you

Wanda and Nat came running over to you and sees that you are not doing well. Nat runs and grabs Bruce while Wanda turns you so that you on your side just in case. Wanda kisses your head and rubs your arm so that you can feel her touch. Bruce comes in with Nat behind him.

Bruce: Hey Y/N, what's going on?

Y/N: I went for a run and over did it. Had a seizure waiting for mom to grab me and now everything feels like it's on fire and is tensing up. I feel like I'm about to have another episode, please help

Bruce: Lets get you down to med bay and I will give you some meds and an IV to help as well

Y/N: Thanks Bruce

Wanda picks you up and walks down to the lab with Bruce. Bruce gets you hooked up to the IV and gives you some meds to help with the fire feeling. Nat walks in with a small snack for you, then kisses your head before going on the mission with Tony, Sam, and Steve. Wanda is sat next to the bed, holding your hand while you get the IV. After about 30 minutes, the fire feeling went away and wasn't aching when you tried to move. Bruce came over and unhooked the IV bag because it was done.

Bruce: Feeling better?

Y/N: Yes. Thank you, Bruce

Bruce: You're welcome. Take it easy for the rest of the night. You are free to go
