"What's up, Cap? You watch Full House yet?" Sam greeted Steve as he exited the elevator on his and Bucky's floor. Steve set down the newspaper he'd been reading and got up from the table.

"Hey. We finished it last night. It was really wholesome. We liked it." He smiled, having fully approved of the show.

Sam chuckled. "I knew you'd like it. I got another show for you to watch."

Steve gestured towards the living room. "Lead the way." The men walked into the living room, where Bucky was sulking.

"What's with the angry staring machine over there?" Sam asked Steve, gesturing towards where Bucky was sitting angrily on the couch with his arms crossed over his chest.

Steve chuckled lightly as he sat beside Bucky. "He's cranky today."

"Awh, does someone need a nap?" Sam teased as he turned on the tv, receiving a hard glare and a low growl from Bucky.

"Hey, we don't growl at people." Steve corrected him like a puppy and making Sam laugh more.

"He's lucky that's all I'm doing." Bucky grumbled softly so only Steve would hear him as he continued staring at Sam.

Sam turned on the show Friends and sat in the chair to begin watching it with the super soldiers. For the entire first episode, Bucky just continued to stare at both Sam and Steve.

Finally, Steve got tired of the staring.

"You know what? Come here." He picked Bucky up and laid them both down on the couch, cuddling him by force. He knew Bucky would be annoyed doing this in front of Sam but he also knew that Bucky needed this.

Bucky pouted and growled lowly, but didn't fight being cuddled. It actually helped him when he was cranky and grumpy like this but he didn't ever want to admit it. Steve already knew though so he didn't have to. It was an unspoken understanding in their relationship.

Sam stared at the couple in confusion. "Shouldn't you be concerned he's going to bite you or something?" He asked Steve as Bucky continued grumbling unfathomably.

"No, we're just doing angry cuddles." Steve said nonchalantly, like this was something all couples did. It was not.

Bucky let out a mixture of a whimper and a growl and Steve hugged him tighter. "I'm just holding you, relax. I'm not doing anything to you."

Bucky snuggled into him and hid his face in the crook of Steve's neck. He continued to whine, which encouraged Steve to rub his back. After awhile, the whining stopped and snoring began.

"You know that was really weird, right?" Sam asked Steve, gesturing towards the sleeping ex-assassin on his chest.

"No, that happens sometimes. He gets grumpy and cranky from being up all night with nightmares and then won't ask for affection or anything that would help soothe him. So I have to do angry cuddles until he relaxes and goes to sleep. He'll be okay again when he wakes up." Steve explained, continuing to rub Bucky's back softly as he slept.

"Yeah that's still weird." He chuckled before letting it go because it wasn't his relationship to have a say in. "Wanna watch episode 2?"

"Yeah, turn it on."
