The four men behind you shifted in place and you took a moment to turn slightly and look all four of them in the eyes. Namjoon and Minjae looked worried but were able to bury it again when you nodded. Minho raised an eyebrow and when you smiled a tiny smile at him, and he nodded at you. But when you turned to Yoongi you could see he was absolutely furious with the situation.

You took a moment to straighten out your jacket and his eyes flashed to your ring, and he watched as you moved the diamond to the inside of your palm just as Seunghyun announced that the video was ready to play. Yoongi clenched his jaw and you ached to be able beg him to go home, to be able to just bury yourself in his arms. Just to avoid this whole mess, but you knew it was imperative to keep this façade going for a bit longer.

You nodded slowly at Yoongi, and he nodded once and turned to the screen. You turned back to find BangPD watching you and you smiled and bowed your head a little and then nodded when Seunghyun looked at you.

You knew Kang Sanghoon had been watching your movements the whole time, but you were surprised when he did not turn as the others did to watch the video but continued to watch you.

You chose to ignore him for the moment, one torment was enough for the time being, and for the first time, you watched the replay of the video from the apartment.

You aimed your eyes at the screen and then used a tried-and-true technique from when you had to attend these types of presentations at your old job. You made your grocery list in your head. Except that in this case, it was a list of things you wanted for the apartment in Chicago. Comforting things, warm cozy things, more candles in new fragrances.

A thought to see about getting some of the detergent that Jimin preferred while you were still in Korea and having that shipped over instead of asking Yeeun or Sungjin to do it for you. You rubbed your thumb over the ring the entire time and mentally counted off each name as you got to their stone. Helped by the fact that even faceted, Namjoon's gift of the Onyx stone was still smoother than the gemstones, you rattled off names in your mind one after another and managed to keep your brain busy enough to mostly ignore what was onscreen.

When you heard the room's collective gasp, you realized the video was almost over and came back to focus, just in time to see Subin crawl her way across the floor to be tripped up by Minho. Your eyes went huge when you realized the video was about to play Yoongi's voice and your panic must have translated to Seunghyun because he was able to hit stop on the video in time.

You heard two deep sighs behind you, and you weren't sure if they were Minho and Namjoon, but you thought you were all relieved to not have to explain the bit about you being Yoongi's wife to this specific crowd.

You also realized that Seunghyun must have queued the video to begin just as you and Yoongi had stepped apart from him kissing you, since you got none of the dirty looks that you'd been expecting. Except Kang Sanghoon, who had never watched the video at all, but had watched you the entire time.

That's just creepy AF, you said to yourself and gave yourself a mental shake to get back into the game.

You waited until the men turned back from the television to face you again and you pasted the most benign expression on your face that you could think of.
