The man on the monitor in front of you was dressed in the kind of overblown military outfit you associated with North Korea, but his accent wasn't quite right. You studied the monitor out of the corner of your eye whenever there was a pause in conversation.

You had tried to take notes, but you hadn't tried to write a Korean word as you heard someone speak it in ages and to say you sucked at transcription would not be a lie. You got the gist of what was being said but hoped that Minho would arrive before Kang Sanghoon saw what was being written.

He'd already given you a cuff to the head at how sloppy your handwriting was, but the General had actually given him a hard time for doing that.

"I do not admire a man who has to beat women to get what he needs Chairman Kang," he said slowly as you had tried to adjust. The cuff to the head wasn't hard but combined with the concussion you were pretty sure you had; it didn't do you any favors.

"My apologies General. My secretary was in a small mishap this morning, and though I had warned her, she does not seem to be on her best behavior this morning. However, she has our plan to return your money to you," said Kang Sanghoon and you realized that was all the prep you were going to get before he expected you to say something.

The incredulity on your face was apparently clear to General Shin for he bit back a smile as you watched the monitor.

Frantically you tried to get your aching head to work so that you could try to figure out how to talk yourself out of this situation.

"Ah... Generalnim. I am very pleased to finally meet you this morning," you began, and he raised an eyebrow but smiled again. "I am afraid that during my mishap this morning, that my own notes were lost," you said and this time the General chuckled a bit. When he responded this time, it seemed he was willing to indulge you for the moment.

"Women fluster so easily Secretarynim. I can remind you of the particulars, of no consequence to yourself or my own time," he said, and you realized he'd neatly cut Kang Sanghoon from the conversation.

You risked a peek under your hair to the man on your right and he seemed not to notice. This time when you looked back at the monitor you let a small smile come out and got an equally small one in return.

"Our friend has borrowed several billion won from the organization I work for in order to finance his dreams Secretarynim. He arranged this meeting last week, in which he assured me that his plan to return our investment was well within your hands," said the General.

At his words you froze, and Kang Sanghoon stepped in again.

"Pabo," he said and this time you were able to brace a bit as he cuffed your head again with his hand. But you weren't able to hide your wince as your head rang like a proverbial bell. Nor the hiss of pain that escaped your lips.

You could hear Yoongi and JK grumbling in your ear, but there was a moment when the pain was so overwhelming that you could focus on nothing else.

"My secretary here has ties to the entertainment industry in South Korea General," explained Kang Sanghoon and you sat up a bit more to risk a glance at him. Of course, I do, but so did he? Where is this going? You were very confused, and it apparently showed on your face, as he lifted his arm to slap you again and you ducked.
