Whilst shopping on Hongdae Fashion Street, we came across many, many sweater vests. At least three different styles of them at every store we went to. To accommodate Tess, Eira chose a black and white design for us all to wear. She then insisted we sport them on the plane to Jeju Island.

"You mean a load of people are gonna see me in this?!" cries Tess.

Eira adjusts Tess's vest for her. "Shut up. You look cute."

"You'll blend right in," I tell Tess, picking up my own sweater vest from Annalise's bed and slipping it over my white button-up. "No one will bat an eye."

"Well, they might 'cause you're a foreigner," my sister chimes in with a laugh.

Before the girls came to Korea, I forgot to mention that even though there's a large population of foreigners in Seoul, people tend to stare because it still occasionally comes as a surprise to natives. And our group has definitely caused some heads to turn. It can be uncomfortable, but you just have to go on with what you're doing and pay no mind.

Tess grumbles under her breath in Spanish which I can only assume translates to something along the lines of oh, fuck me.

"Cállate," scolds Eira.

"Wait, how'd you learn Spanish?"

"By spending too much time with you."

After being picked up by Sungmin, we're off to the airport for our short, one-hour flight. The three friends are astounded by the fact that we get to fly on a private jet. Normally for personal vacations, the members fly privately; this is nothing out of the blue. And since this is an exclusive getaway, we were destined to rent our own plane. They also do this for safety reasons in case their activities are meant to stay confidential and it's leaked to the media.

"This trip just keeps getting better and better," Annalise comments as we drive up to the plane.

"How is your boyfriend able to pull this off?" asks Eira, her eyes wide in awe at the large aircraft. "Is his dad a CEO or something?"

"Yeah...a CEO," I lie.

Sounds believable to me.

Three company cars with dark-tinted windows park next to our own vehicle. We get our suitcases from the trunk, thank Sungmin for the ride, and wait for the members to emerge so we can greet them. They step out, and despite it being the crack of dawn, the seven men are dressed to impress. I guess it became a force of habit since the paparazzi are always at the airport before their flights. Airport fashion is a big part of Kpop culture.

The boys grin as soon as they catch a glimpse of our little group. They then grab their bags from the cars and join us where we're standing. Shyly, Tess and Eira bow, and the members return the formality. Annalise simply waves, beaming, "Hey, guys!"

"Everyone," I begin, "meet my friends. This is Hobi, Joon, Tae, Jimin, Yoongi, Jin, and my boyfriend JK."

It feels so weird referring to them as my friends.

"I'm glad you all could make it," Namjoon smiles. "How are you liking Korea so far?"

"I love it here," babbles Annalise.

"Me too," Eira agrees. "I'm ready to move!"

Jimin giggles. "Your outfits are really cute, by the way."

"It was Eira's idea," indicates Tess.

"We didn't get the memo that we were supposed to match," Jungkook chuckles.
