Owen's P.O.V.

"Um...Do you want to get lunch? I don't mean I want you to take out to eat, I just thought it is almost lunchtime and you might be hungry. I just thought it would be nice to get something to eat. But you can say no if you have other plans-" He asked me as we sat in the car. He was nervous. I never knew Jason was this cute.

"Sure. I can eat." I replied cutting him. What could I say, I had free time and I don't mind spending a little time with him? Vlad has stopped meddling with how I do things with Jason, he is giving me time. But I could feel that he is going crazy from happiness. Jason was surprised but then he also looked really happy.

"GOOD! I know this great place in the town." He replied as he ignited the engine.

We stopped in front of a modern white two-story building. We were near the river. I was getting my bag from the back seat and he opened the door for me before I could turn around. When did he leave the car? He then led me to the first floor, it was a huge restaurant. With a white interior, dark wooden floor, and black steel tables and chairs. It had an open kitchen and many cooks were working, as it is afternoon the natural light was coming from all sides and the entire restaurant was well lit naturally. The strange thing was the cooks were working like crazy but there was not a single customer in there.

When we entered the restaurant a receptionist led us to a balcony, there were a few tables there but no one was there also. We sat at the table very close to the edge of the balcony. The fencing was decorated with flower plants and it smelled heavenly. I looked at the scene in front of me, on the right was the woods stretching as far as the horizon, on the left was the river and opposite the river was our town, I never knew our town had such an amazing skyline. It was looking so good in the afternoon, I wondered how it look at night.

We sat quietly for a while but it was not awkward I was busy looking at the scenery in front of me, breathing in the air filled with these pleasant smells, feeling the cold breeze. It was comfortable. After a while, a waiter came with two menus.

"This is our menu for today. We hope you enjoy the meal and your time here." He said.

"Everything looks delicious," I said as I scanned through the menu. It was a course meal. I looked at the waiter as he smiled gently and left. Jason broke the silence first by asking me about my interview. I was careful in the beginning, just saying what was needed but I could not hold myself back and started telling him every single detail about the things that happened during the interview.

After a while, the same waiter came back with two plates and placed them on our table. "The appetizer is Artichuat Vinaugrette." He said with a smile before leaving. He said the name in perfect French that for a second, I thought I was in France.

I didn't even know what it meant. In front of us was a beautiful green artichoke with purple shades and some kind of liquid sauce plated beautifully on a white plate. Following Jason's lead, I dipped a leaf in the sauce and had a bit. My mouth started to drool as soon as I put that in my mouth. My mouth was leaking so much that it felt like my mouth was having an orgasm. Oh my god, I must be going crazy, I don't know what I'm saying. I closed my eyes unintentionally and a gentle moan left me. I opened my mouth and saw Jason staring at me, he was so shocked. I don't know what he is thinking.

"It's so delicious," I said. He then blinked rapidly like he was coming back into reality and then smiled at me. I was eating the dish and I don't know when it finished. We were talking about the town and how it has changed over the years the whole time.

After some time, the waiter came and took the dishes, he then placed two similar white dishes. There was a sandwich, but it looked so different it had some white sauce on the sandwich and it was topped with cheese. The sandwich was placed on different vegetables with a combination of green, red and yellow. There were leaves, tomatoes, bell papers, and much more.
