"Slut." Snape take coughs across the potions classroom at Kate.

The other Slytherins laugh and call other cruel names at her, as she sits in her seat. The past two weeks had been hell for her, but she'd learnt how to zone it out.Mary, Marlene and Lily look up at the ex fourth member of their group. Since her pregnancy came out two weeks ago, she had continued to avoid them all. Little did they know she had heard everything they had said in the Great Hall on the first evening back. She didn't have time for fake friends or bitchiness, she was here to get her education and escape.

"Oh hiya, Kate." Lily smiled, "How are you?"

Kate shrugged, grabbing her stuff out of her bag and placing it on the table in front of her. The boys were sat on the table next to them, able to see and hear every interaction, Sirius couldn't help but glance over every five minutes. He was sure Kates stomach had grown in the last two weeks.

"Do they often get that much bigger so quickly?" He asked James, both of them turning their heads to stare at her small bump.

"Erm yeah.." James shrugs cluelessly.

She looked better, healthier compared to the previous days. Her blonde hair tied up in two french braids either side of her head. The hairstyle he'd always loved most on her. He pulled his eyes away sadly, forcing himself to do his work.

James leant over to his best friend, "Now I know somethings wrong with you,you're actually doing your work."

"Oh.." was all that Sirius could reply as he carried on.

Remus, Pete and James all exchanged looks of concern. He'd been fine over Christmas, having spent it with the Potters and Remus. He was happy. The sudden change in his behaviour was making James anxious about Sirius' family, he couldn't help but wonder if they'd contacted him again or threatened him. He vowed to always protect his brother, but he couldn't do that if he didn't know what happened.

Once he had finished writing, Sirius chanced one more glance at his former fling. He was startled to see her already looking at him, her eyes pulled away just as fast and he couldn't help but miss the way they used to be.

Flashback

Sirius glanced over at Kate, who started blushing as she was already staring at him. He broke out into a pathetic lovesick smile, he loved making her blush. He looked her up and down, undressing her with his eyes. His eyes lingered on her chest, he bit his lip before looking back into her blue eyes.
