A week has passed since Bongbong and Sara filed their COC. One week na din silang hindi nagkakausap at nagkikita. He wanted to call her pero he didn't. Wala nga naman siyang number ni Sara at nahihiya naman siyang hingin kay manang. At the back of his mind he thought na mas mabuti na ngang ganito baka sakali makalimutan na niya kung ano man ang nraramdan niya kay Sara. Until now, he isn't sure if admiration lang ba or he's feeling something deeper than that.
"Only time will tell" he said to himself.
He then turned on the TV to watch the news and to know who filed their COC's today. Gusto niyang malaman kung sino ang mga magiging katunggali nya for the presidency.--------
Sara was also busy in Davao. As soon as she filed her COC, she bid farewell to her constituents. The scene was televised. She was seen hugging one of the employees while crying so hard to the point na magang maga na mata niya. Just as she finished hugging the woman, may lumapit pa na isang employee sa kanya para makipag selfie.
Knowing her, pag dating sa picturan, hindi sya pahuhuli... she's a self proclaimed "selfie queen".
Biglang nagtawanan ang lahat ng taong nakapaligid sa kanya, even the reporters when she quickly changed her expression from literally sobbing a few seconds ago, to a big smile when she posed for the selfie.
"Inyo pong natutunghayan live ang pamamaalam ni Mayor Inday Sara sa mga taga Davao.." the reporter said.
Nung nagkatawanan na, di mapigilan ng reporter na nag la live broadcast ang mapa side comment.
"Ang cute ni Mayor" Since live nga ito, biglang tinukso ni Mike Enriquez ang field reporter na si Atom Araullo.
"Ah ganun ba, Atom? Ingat ka jan at baka mahulog ka din. Nabalitaan namin na iba talaga ang charisma ng Mayor ng Davao City lalo na sa personal"
Napangiti nalang si Atom sabay sabing "Positive Mike!"
"At ayun na nga ang kaganapan dito sa City hall ng Davao, ito si Atom Araullo nakatutok, bente kwatro oras"
Bongbong was too stunned to speak.. he was watching the same live broadcast. Di nya alam kung matutuwa ba siya at nakita nya si Sara sa TV, matatawa kasi ang kulit parin ng Sara niya.(😜) O mabubwisit kasi mukang may crush din yung reporter kay Sara. Infairness ang gwapo din kasi nung reporter.
Mixed emotions na nga yung naramdaman nya at mas lalong naningkit mata nya sa inis. He was about to turn off the TV when his phone rang.
Unknown number: "Hello?" He answered
"Hi is this Mr. Marcos?, This is the spokesperson of Sara Duterte. Since we officially announced her candidacy for Vice president, we wanted to know if your camp is ready to kick off with the campaign next week? We are planning to have a Caravan in Ilocos first. Let me know if we're good to go so that we can announce it to the public."
He was surprised but he said "Yes, were good to go. Please communicate all the details to my campaign manager please" he said.
"Will do. Thanks Sir" then the call ended.
"Hmmm Ilocos ang first stop, maybe we can stay in our ancestral home the night before. " He thought.
His expression suddenly changed from being busangot to a naughty smiling face. At the back of his mind he is celebrating.
"Yes! I'm going to see her again"
