"I didn't expect everyone to be here."Mr. Shekhawat whispered before rushing to get back,  "It took you years to come back and this is what you say?"Grandma said as she clenched her jaw, making him stop in his tracks.

"You are coming in, am not letting you go before dinner, you ungrateful child." She said as she grabbed his ear dragging him in, "Mom... Mom it hurts... You might just pull out my ear, Mom... am not a kid anymore, ah... stop, Mom the kids are looking seriously."Mr. Shekhawat winched in pain. Sana and Rehan couldn't help but giggle at the situation.

"If you are so embarrassed then why don't you look at the way you behave what kind of son just cuts off his mother like this. SIT!"She said to which Mr.Shekhawat obliged without any argument.

"It's been ages- since I last saw you- Did you forget you had a mother? or did you just think of me as Dead, Vihan?"Grandma cried, "MOM!!"Mr.Shekhawat almost whined, "What? what did I say wrong you both did that to me" Grandma said as she pointed out to Riddhi and Vihan.

"You can excuse yourself from all this drama, if you want to we can get upstairs."Rehan whispered to Sana who just stared awkwardly at the people around her.

"Forget what you did to me, but that poor baby- what did he do so wrong to go through that much huh? How dare you two make him suffer like that."Rehan could hear his grandma yelling as he locked the door behind him. "Maybe we should have left." he said awkwardly- looking at Sana who looked through the room. "You used to be cute."She smiled looking at the pictures on the shelf, making Rehan confused as it was not at all relevant to what he has said.

"Your room is cleaner than I expected it to be. So organized- Woah! look at the number of books." Sana chirped as she shuffled through. "Yah! Don't."Rehan quickly closed the drawer Sana had opened, "Wha... what is in that drawer?" Sana peeked curiously, "It's nothing."Rehan said, "there were diaries in there- I did get a peek- why are you lying like that" Sana pouted trying to reach out to the drawer door just to be pulled away, "It's bad to look into personal belongings without permission. Don't you know?" Rehan said as he made her sit on the bed and took his laptop out connecting the hard drive to it.

"Here." He elbowed Sana who was reading the book, "What is this?" Sana asked as she looked up from the book. "Well, a gift I guess?" He said as he handed the pen drive to her- "Oh.... oh!"Sana dropped the book as she realized what was in it. "Thanks."She said tearing up a little.

"Your parents looked kind and sweet."Rehan commented, "Oh they were."Sana smiled, "well cannot return the compliment, can you?" Rehan scoffed, "eh... I mean your parents are sweet and kind to me - so I can." Sana smirked- "It's been quiet downstairs- should we go check?" Sana asked as she opened the door and Rehan nodded following her outside.

Sana and Rehan peeked in the hall they could see the adults sitting silently, "Aren't you going to ask her how she has been?" Granny said frustrated, "Are you doing well?" Vihan asked as he tried to avoid eye contact with Riddhi, " I have been doing well." Riddhi smiled politely, "How have you been? I heard you are helping Sana out how is that going?" She asked, "Good."Vihan replied.

"Where do you think you two are going?" Grandma asked as she spotted Rehan and Sana sneaking out, "The whole family is going to have dinner together." She stated, to which Sana nodded walking ahead, "Where are you going? Are you trying to say you are not family? You rude brat."Grandma glared at her to which she opened and closed her mouth at a loss of words.

"Everyone wash up and in the kitchen. RUN!" Grandma said making everyone rush.
