The next couple weeks had passed rather seamlessly, though the tension between Cap and Tony only grew. Tony's ever-growing concern with politics made it much easier for Loki and I to continue sneaking off for a couple hours each day, though.

I honestly didn't mind the tiny feud going on within the team. Heck, I wasn't apart of it anyway, right?

I learned quite a bit about Loki in that time. His favorite places to go were the nature park a few miles away from the compound, the used book store down the street, and the little cafe I took him to the first day we left the compound. Of course, he never actively expressed that they were his favorite, but that's the perks of feeling every little emotion, right?

I hadn't thought Tony had done much of anything with the stones after Vision's creation, and I was surprised he hadn't immediately ordered Thor to take Loki home. As much as I'm sure he'd hate to admit it, I think he was slightly warming up to the mischief god, or perhaps forgot he was even there. They rarely, if ever, interacted with one another. When they did it was always short on Loki's end. He had stopped antagonizing Tony within days of being in the tower.

I was still short with Tony, but we didn't have much contact. The team had all started eating dinner at different times, distancing themselves from one another to avoid arguments. What had once been a table full of revolving teammates as they took breaks between missions had now just become a table with myself, Thor, Loki, Wanda, and Vision.

It was obvious Vision was only there for Wanda, as he had no need for dinner, but I enjoyed seeing the two of them getting along so well. They did make for nice company. I could also appreciate that Wanda was coming out of her shell a bit, something Vision and I had made great strides in helping her do after Pietro's death in Sokovia. Cap occasionally joined us at the table, but he and Nat had both been gone for a few days on work.

I woke up to my alarm at 8am and went to grab a cup of coffee, quickly making it into a travel mug to head down to the training room.

"Where you heading?" I heard Wanda ask from behind me.

"Training room. Want to join?"

She nodded and followed me down, watching as I pulled up the dummy sequences. I wasn't necessarily surprised she chose to join me, as we had grown quite close over the last couple weeks, but I was incredibly proud of her. For the first time, her initial feeling wasn't sorrow or grief. It wasn't necessarily happiness, but... Content? Acceptance? I was unsure, but nonetheless proud of the great strides my bruja had made in her grieving process.

"So, you and Vision seem to be getting along wonderfully." I said with a smirk as I tried to open the conversation with something positive. I laughed, watching Wanda's blush reach her cheeks.

"Yes, well. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe?" She stumbled through her words with a bit of a laugh. "You and Loki seem to get along just a nicely." She commented, raising her eyebrows.

"Oh, Loki and I are jus-"

"Sneaking out every day for alone time?" I froze as I looked at Wanda, who now smirked herself. "I didn't mean to pry. I noticed a couple days ago."

I swallowed a bit, "Don't tell Tony. Or Thor."

"Oh, of course I won't. Unlike some people here, I do not enjoy Tony's fits."

I laughed aloud and nodded, "I feel like I deserve hazard pay for that shit." I said with an eye roll. "Speaking of which." I continued, grinning at Wanda. "I think you do, too. How about we go shopping? I'm sure you could use some new clothes."

Wanda's eyes lit up, an excitement I hadn't seen in her radiating around us.

"Alright, give me 30 to change and steal Tony's credit card. He definitely owes us some compensation." I said with a laugh, before going straight to the lab.
