Marlie's POV

I watched as Steven, dressed in his Captain America suit holding the shield I helped create, ran full speed towards the helicopter Friday predicted he would try to take. Tony, Rhodey, and I few down in our respective suits, with Tony shooting an electro-disabler onto the chopper. Steve stops and looks up as we hover in the air for a moment before descending down to land between him and the chopper.

"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. Don't you think that's weird." Tony says sarcastically retracting his helmet as he speaks with me doing the same.

"Definitely, weird."

I hear Rhodey respond as he follows suit in retracting his helmet. I ignore them and just stare daggers at Steven, who is dutifully ignoring me.

"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this."

T'Challa leaps in over a truck dressed head to toe in what I now know is his Black Panther suit. His entrance distracts Steven, who turns towards our newcomer.

"Captain."

"Your highness."

"Anyway, Ross gave me 36 hours to bring you in. That was 24 hours ago. Can you help a brother out?"

Steve ignores Tony and finally turns and looks me dead in the eye.

"You're after the wrong guy."

His voice had a tinge of pleading in it, but it was masked with his intense resolve to protect his friend. Before I have a chance to respond Tony's anger reaches its boiling point.

"Your judgement is askew. Your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday."

"And there are five more super soldiers just like him. I can't let the doctor find them first. Tony, Marlie, I can't."

I can't help the scoff that escapes drawing the attention towards me.

"And that justifies what you've done? What are you doing now? Steven, two wrongs don't make a right. I know Bucky didn't set the bomb in Vienna, but you're going about this all wrong. Just stand down and come with us. Let us fix this whole mess. Please."

"Steve... you know what's about to happen. Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?" Natasha asks walking in opposite of T'Challa.

I watch as Steve considers his options, but I also know him. He's gone too far into this mess to turn back now. He's not going to risk what he deems as right. Turning away from Steve I look over at my husband and see that he knows this too.

"All right. I've run out of patience." He says then brings his hands up his face. "Underoos!"

On cue, Peter dressed in his newly designed Spider-Man suit flips in webbing Cap's shield out of his arms and landing in an iconic superhero pose.

"Nice job, kid."

I had met the kid just prior to now, but he seemed like a good kid. I can tell how much he looks up to Tony and as it turns out me too. When we met, he didn't stop rambling about my work, due to his nerves, until Tony placed a hand on his shoulder. He was younger than I would have liked, but Tony promised that he had precautions in placed in his suit. The suit, which Tony designed, was impressive. It was red with blue and black accents on his arms and legs. Over the red fabric was an intricate web design that centered in between the large lenses for his eyes. The final touch was a small spider emblem in the center of his chest, and this was just the appearance of it. I got a thorough diagnostic of the suit earlier and Tony spared no expense in the bells and whistles.
