Tony's POV

The next morning, we all woke up early and met up in the kitchen. While everyone was drinking their coffee and eating something small for breakfast, Nat, Bruce, and I explained what we had figured out the night before. After explaining we all went into the conference room to review and devise individual plans for each of the stones. I brought up the images of each of the stones and separated them into the different locations and times. After about two hours of planning everything was sorted.

Before suiting up, I decided to check and see if I had received any new documents. I opened the file and sure enough there was a new message. I opened it and read. 'Tony, great job figuring everything out. Just to be extra sure I wanted to compare notes to make sure things go the way I need them too. Okay, so here is what needs to happen. You, Scott, Steve, and Bruce are going to 2012 New York to collect the Space, Mind, and Time Stones. Nat and Clint are going to 2014 to collect the Soul Stone on Vormir. Rhodey and Nebula are going to Morag also in 2014 to get the Power Stone. And Thor and Rocket are going to Asgard in 2013 to get the Reality Stone out of Jane Foster. I hope our plans align. I will leave you with one final thing, first, don't be afraid to improvise when needed and second, when you get back check this file again, there are some things I'll need to tell you before you use the stones. Love you and be careful. Marlie.

I read through her message once more and was encouraged by the fact that our plans were the same. It would have saved us a lot of time if she had just told us about the whole plan from the beginning, but I guess it was something we needed to figure out for ourselves.

I closed the file and was about to get up to get ready for the mission, but the picture on my desk caught my eye. I grabbed the picture and looked down on it fondly. It was a picture of Marlie and I on our wedding day. She looked so beautiful and happy as she stared up at me with such a loving expression. I missed her so much, but the hope of seeing her soon filled me.

"I'll see you real soon, Lee. Hold on just a bit longer." I mumbled as I gently caressed the image of my wife's smiling face.

I was then interrupted by the door of my office opening. I looked up and saw Steve standing in the doorway. "Anything new in the file?" Steve asked.

"Just a confirmation of our plans and a reminder to check again when we get back."

Steve nodded. "Good. You ready?"

I nodded as I got up and walked over. "Let's bring them home."

We all then suited up and walked together onto the platform. I stood next to Steve and we both looked around at everyone here. Then Steve began to give his pre-mission inspiration speech.

"All right. We have a plan. Six Stones, three teams. One shot. Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams; you know your missions. Get the stones, get them back. One round trip each. No mistakes. No do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. But it doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives. And we're gonna win."

Steve then turned and looked at me and I gave him a smirk.

"Whatever it takes. Good luck." Steve finished and I nodded my head.

"He's pretty good at that." I heard Rocket mumble.

"Right?" Scott agreed.

We all then walked to the edge of the platform as I spoke up. "Alright, you heard the man. Stroke those keys, jolly green."

"Tractors engaged." Bruce said from the control panel as he walked over to stand beside me.

"See you in a minute." I heard Nat say giving Steve a teasing look.

The machine then powered up and we all closed the helmets over our faces. The platform below us then opened up creating an orange and red portal. We all shrank down and entered the quantum realm.

Shrinking down through the quantum realm was an interesting experience. Everything flew by quickly, which made it difficult to register everything I was seeing. I was however able to make out several particle configurations of every different color and shape pass through my sight. There was so much to take in and under different circumstances I would have loved to slow it down to take readings and measurements to study later. As quickly as we entered the quantum realm we exited, and our mission began.
