I ignored the glances from Ansel long enough, but he soon found a way to approach me and he had a drink in his hand. By the way he walked up this wasn't his first nor second drink.

"You and jovian?" He asked as he gave his empty glass to the bartender.

I shrugged shamelessly "something like that- Would say I'm sorry about what you saw earlier... but why'd you think it was a good idea to barge in?" I got a glass of water remembering I might be on break but I'm a still mom.

Ansel eyes darkened, for the first time a different Ansel aside from the happy bubbly Ansel....

"Is there something you want to talk about? I mean haven't talked in-" I started but was quickly cut off. Ever since I got down here Ansels been weird and glaring at me. Jovian said he's just upset about a fight with Tabitha...

"No. It's fine." Was all he said before he practically stormed out. What's up his ass?

I spotted Jovain and valeria on the beach side, he smiled at her she ran from him with a handful of sand. "That's your kid?" The bartender randomly asked me as I stared off..

"I would hope so." I chuckled to myself while he stared at me as I'd I was crazy.

"You've got a really beautiful family ma'am" I smiled at his words, I've never thought Jovian could pass for valeria dad having a stranger make that assumption in a way us odd.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

"I have plans for us tomorrow, if you're up to it. Before my game?"

I nodded as I pulled my hoodie over my head ready for bed. "Like what?" I wondered as I rubbed moisturizer on my face.

"You'll see." He smiled as he took his shirt off preparing for bed also.

"You can't like.. sleep with that on?" I asked observing him a bit. I never really just stared at him for what changed him physically over time.

"Does it bother you?" He asked with a slight smirk lingering.

I shook my head as I pulled my sleeves over my hands. I took a seat on the hotel coach earning a questioning look. Ever since I've saw Jovain there's been one thing bothering me. I mean it's been a long time since we even saw each other... everything is different yet the same when we're with each other... I don't know if it makes sense.

"What's up with Ansel..?"

"Whatchu mean?" He asked as he came over and sat across from me.

"He was very hostile towards me.. he didn't seem like the Ansel I know...."

"Jules, you leaving didn't only effect me. We know why you did it, but it stil hurt. Ansel on the other hand, he's just got a lot going on. He can't fake it anymore.."
