Leeseo was simply watching a movie on the couch when she heard the doorbell ring. She excitedly got up, knowing that it was you at the door.

When she opened it, however, she was met with you slumped on the ground near the door with your head hanging.

"Y/N!" Leeseo dropped to her knees and pulled you closer to her. "Babe, can you hear me? What happened?" She asked as she lifted your face. When she saw your face, tears immediately brimmed her eyes.

You gave no response. You felt numb everywhere, even your mouth. You cried out in pain when Leeseo wrapped your arm around her shoulder and used all of her strength to help you stand up from the ground.

She led you inside and sat you down at one of the kitchen barstools.

She clasped her hands over your ears before shouting, "Eomma!"

Immediately, her mother was running down the stairs, due to the distress in Leeseo's voice. "What is it? What happened, honey?" Ms. Lee paused in her steps when she saw you hunched over on the barstool and leaning lifelessly against her daughter for support.

"Oh, dear." Ms. Lee walked up to the two of you. She gently lifted your head, but when she saw your state, she gasped.

Leeseo looked at her mother with a pleading look in her eyes. "Eomma, help her, please!" She cried.

Ms. Lee quickly nodded and rushed into the kitchen to get the first-aid kit. When she came back, she immediately opened it and got to work on your face and body. You were covered in bruises, with a few cuts and scratches scattered around. When she was done, she gave your shoulder a gentle squeeze before letting go to pack up the kit. After that, she gave you both one last glance before leaving to give you both privacy to talk.

Leeseo cupped your cheeks and made you look into her eyes.

"Hey, baby." You muttered, offering her a weak smile.

She let a few tears spill down her cheeks as she sniffled and placed her forehead against yours. "What happened to you? Who hurt you?" She asked.

You simply placed a hand over hers, which were still holding your face, and pecked her lips. "Don't worry about-"

"No!" She interjected. "No... I need to know who did this to you. Just tell me, Y/N. Please." She pleaded softly.

The look in her eyes was enough to have you weak in the knees and caving in to her request.

"It was just a group of boys. I stood up for a girl that they were picking on in front of the convenience store, so I told them to piss off. I suppose they didn't like that too much." You explained.

You sighed contentedly as Leeseo stepped closer to you and wrapped her arms around your neck, gently pushing your head down to lie on her chest.

"It's okay. You're staying here tonight, end of discussion."

"I wouldn't protest anyway, silly."
