This is the Jennie version of an old imagine.

A/N: If you want me to make more versions of already existing imagines (as in, I just take an already existing imagine that I've posted to this book, and I change the names to the idol of your choice), feel free to comment them right here! I've already got one in the drafts, waiting to be published (;

Anyway, this one's a long one, but it's really good ! Enjoy 🍿

"Jen, I recognize that bell anywhere- What are we doing back in the shop, we literally just left, like, an hour ago!" You whined. "Oh, wait, did you need to grab something?"

Jennie chuckled lightheartedly, before removing her hands from over your eyes and stepping away.

"So... What do you think?"

It took your eyes a few moments to adjust to the lighting of the boutique, but once they did, they doubled in size and your hand flew over her mouth.

The entire boutique was decorated extravagantly. It all looked so professional and well-done. The color scheme was your favorite: white and yellow. In big balloon letters, the words Happy Anniversary were spelt out, floating above your heads.

You turned around to look at Jennie, who was standing by the door. Your eyes were wide and your mouth was still agape. She walked over to you with a fond smile.

"What- What do I think? What do I think?!" You squealed as you threw your arms around her neck. Her arms instinctively wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer as you nuzzled your head against hers.

"I'll take that as you like it?" Jennie whispered once you pulled away from each other's hold. You smiled as pearly tears rolled down your cheeks. You sighed, one of your hands cupping her cheek, with one of hers on top of your own. She left a sweet, lingering kiss on the palm of your hand.

"Happy anniversary, my love." She smiled at you.

You pouted, punching her shoulder, "If I had known that you were going to go all out, I would have done more than taking you out to dinner."

Jennie only smiled at you, caressing your cheek. "That's okay, baby. Tonight's all about you."

"What do you m- Oh my god!" Your heart began to beat a hundred times faster, the second you saw her drop down on one knee.

"I'm not good with things like this, you know that. But... Do you remember when we first met?"

FLASHBACK:
Four years ago

"Okay, everyone," Kim Seokjin sighed tiredly. He turned to face his employees who were lined up in front of the door to the expensive shop.

The sign hanging outside of the shop read Worldwide Boutique, owned by Kim Seokjin. It's a very popular clothing store, located in Seoul's Times Square mall. Right now, they were getting ready to open, seeing as it was nearing eight-thirty a.m..

"I know we're about to open, but I just got a call. Jinseo's in labor."

Gasps filled the moderately-sized shop as the employees all shared understanding looks.

"Go, boss! We've got things handled here, your sister is more important!" An employee, Hana, chimed.

"Agreed. I'll watch over these idiots until you get back, boss." An employee named Leigh added, as she fixed a fellow employee's nametag, which read Jang Yubin.

Seokjin smiled gently and let out a breath of relief, thankful that his employees always understood and were willing to do anything to help him and each other out. "Alright, then. Leigh, Y/N. You two are in charge. I'll be back as soon as I can!" He then picked up his bag and waved, before he exited the shop urgently.
