You didn't know what to expect when you went downstairs, but you definitely didn't expect to see the leaders of Hydra standing in your small living room.

Hydra is the name of an underground organization that specializes in assassinations. They're the most feared woman-led syndicates in South Korea.

Only one of them was sitting in a chair, while the rest were standing behind and around her. You assumed the woman sitting down was Kim Chaewon. The boss.

One glance at your mother and you already knew that she was probably high and also wasn't expecting this visit. A visit from the most dangerous women in the country.

A million thoughts raced through your mind, but the loudest one was how you wanted nothing more than to just run to your room and go back to sleep. But, as much as you wanted to walk out the room, you didn't want to leave your mother alone in a room with a group of assassins.

You never tore your eyes away from Kim Chaewon's face as you scanned over the (presumably) older's facial features. Soft-looking cheeks contrasted by a sharp jawline, an awfully adorable nose, and piercing brown eyes.

Your entire body froze the second that you accidentally made eye contact with her. The Kim Chaewon.

Your mother noticed that everyone's attention was drawn elsewhere, so she turned to look at whatever had caught their eyes.

You, her daughter.

"What the hell are you doing down here? I didn't tell you to come out of your room."

"Yes, I know, but I was-"

"Shut the fuck up. You know I can't understand that hand crap, you freak." She scowled, slapping your hands harshly. You cowered in your spot, but out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Chaewon signing to you.

"Let us handle this."

You subtly nodded, not knowing what she was implying, but you kept your head down, out of shame and fear (mostly fear).

Chaewon grimaced and stood up, taking slow steps towards your mother.

"Listen here, Y/M/N. If you ever hit her like that again, I'll kill you myself. I will make sure your death is slow, do I make myself clear?" She snapped, getting close to your mother's face. Her tone was deep, filled with menace.

Your mother looked at Chaewon with wide eyes and straightened her posture. "O-Of course! I'm so sorry you had to see that, Ms. Kim."

Chaewon pushed your mother aside, walking forward to take your trembling hand in her own.

"What's your name, darling?"

QOTD: If you could be the additional member of any group, what group would it be? Why?
AOTD: I think IVE would be the best fit for me, for a lot of reasons, but mainly because they're *NOT in an offensive way, there's nothing wrong with it* talents are average, with the exception of Liz, Yujin, and maybe Rei, so I think I would fit right in with a little bit of training. (I love all of the girls, that comment was not meant to be shady or rude, I was just stating my personal opinion, thank you.)
