You suppressed the urge to squeal as you entered the concert venue, an evident pep in your step. You were practically glowing, and it was clear to see from a mile away, especially with the radiant grin you wore.

Today, Haewon and the girls are performing live in New York, and you were lucky enough to snag a ticket.

You've been Haewon for a few months now. You both met when the girls first came to the States to shoot a video, and she asked you on a date-with the company's permission, of course; they told you that as long as you keep it under wraps until their dating ban is lifted, then they'll allow it. Since then, you've both managed to maintain the long-distance relationship fairly well. There have been some rough patches, but you get through them together.

You haven't told Haewon about you coming to the concert. She brought it up over a video call the other night, but you had to lie to her and tell her that you had work that day so you won't be able to make it. She appeared to be saddened by it, but you eventually managed to cheer her up. Another thing you haven't told her, which you plan to do tonight, is that you're moving to South Korea in two weeks time, meaning that you'll be able to get rid of the long-distance aspect of your relationship.

You're quite excited for her reaction when she finds out the news. She always goes on with stars in her eyes about how she'd be the happiest woman in the world if you were to live in the same country.

During the entirety of the first song, your eyes were lit up with admiration, and your heart was beating wildly as you watched Haewon and the girls perform with so much charisma. Just watching them gave you an adrenaline rush-after all, besides being Haewon's girlfriend, you're also a big fan of the group.

The girls were now walking along the edge of the stage, each of them introducing themselves to the crowd and talking for a bit.

After taking a sip of water, Haewon raised her microphone to talk again after Sullyoon, letting her bright eyes scan over the ocean of fans. She was about to speak. She paused, however, when her eyes landed on you. They widened, pure shock swimming in their depths as she stilled in her place.

It didn't take long for a wide grin to win her lips, but she had to contain it in order to carry on with the show without raising too much suspicion. You smiled back and waved at her.

She went on to speak to the fans, while you watched with a fond smile.

You were quick to wrap your arms around her neck as soon as you reached her backstage, nearly melting when she held you just a tightly, pulling you flush against her body.

"You did so great out there, baby! Absolutely crushed the stage," you praised, pulling away from her embrace to press a kiss to her cheek.

She smiled, an endearing sight to you. "Thanks. You know me; I put my all into it. Hopefully everyone else feels the same way you do."

You placed a hand on her cheek and caressed the soft skin. She leaned into your touch and closed her eyes. The two of you simply sat in the comfortable silence that fell upon you, and enjoyed the peaceful moment.

Until you spoke up again.

"Babe," you called out quietly.

Haewon hummed, not opening her eyes as she kept her head in your palm and snaked her arms around your waist.

"Guess who's moving to South Korea in two weeks?"

It was as if time had paused for a moment. You were startled, however, when her eyes flew open and she abruptly jumped. Both of her hands came up to envelop the one cupping her cheek as she stared at you in disbelief. Her eyes watered, which had your heart speeding up in panic.

As the first tear fell, she brought your hand up to her lips and kissed it, letting her lips linger in that spot. She then pulled you into her embrace for a second time and held you even tighter, burying her face in your neck.

"Hey, why are you crying? Don't cry~" You felt sad seeing her tears.

She sniffled, which was followed by a breathy chuckle as she brushed her nose against yours. "Don't worry, my love, they're happy tears."

You smiled softly and pecked her lips. "I love you, baby," you whispered.

"I love you too. I can't wait for us to be together."
