You smiled when Jiwoo walked through the door with an expression mirroring yours.
You stood up and sauntered over to her, pulling her into your embrace as soon as you were in front of her. She wrapped her arms around your waist in return, kiddish giggles following the action.
"Happy birthday, cutie," you whispered in her ear. You pulled away shortly to kiss her cheek.
You locked eyes with her and hoped that, in your own eyes, she could see the love you feel for her, and how proud of her you are every single day.
"Thank you, babe," she mumbled back.
You smiled and brushed your nose against hers, then pressed a soft kiss to her lips. You both whispered I love you to each other, before pulling away.
You immediately grabbed her hand and began dragging her to your kitchen.
"Now, come," you urged, "I made something awesome for you in the kitchen, and I think you'll like it a lot!" You exclaimed.
She giggled and followed behind you with a bright smile on her face.
