You hummed to yourself as you wandered around the women's clothing section in the store. You were planning to add a few new articles of clothing to your wardrobe, as a way of treating yourself. School had gotten out an hour ago, as you're a high school student, and you came directly to the mall to have some fun, so you're still in your school uniform: a pale blue button up shirt tucked into a navy blue pleated skirt, paired with white socks that reached just below your knees, and black loafers. Your blazer was strewn over your arm, held close to your chest as you examined racks of clothing.

You had noticed an older man carrying a selfie stick in the same aisle as you, and you couldn't help but feel slightly unsettled. It wasn't anything personal, but he simply gave off bad vibes-in your opinion, at least. But you didn't want to seem rude by glancing at him and hurrying off. So, you did possibly the dumbest thing, and stayed in the aisle, continuing to examine a colorful selection of sweaters. A handful of sweaters caught your eye, momentarily distracting you from the very man you were worrying about just a few moments ago.

"What do you think you're doing?"

You immediately looked over your shoulder and turned around, thinking that the words were directed at you, but when you looked, you were met with something different. There was a young girl standing in front of you. She had long brown hair, and had on a red hoodie and a white beanie. You couldn't see her face, however.

The girl looked at the older man with a hard gaze. She made sure to block you entirely from the older man's view.

"What do you mean?" The older man asked, feigning innocence.

You were beyond confused, so you reached out and tapped the young girl's shoulder. She turned around to look at you.

She's extremely pretty, you thought to yourself.

"U-Uhm, I'm sorry but... what's happening?" You questioned her.

The girl sighed, glaring back at the man before looking back at you. "That creep was taking upskirt photos and photos of your legs," she informed you, a scowl on her face, directed at the man.

You gasped silently, your face paling almost instantly. You looked at the man, pointing at the phone and selfie stick in his hand.

"Sir, can you please delete the photos you took?" You requested.

"What's the harm in it? It's not like I'm gonna-"

"The harm is that it's literally illegal," The young girl cut in. "Illegal and disgusting. It doesn't matter what you are or aren't gonna do with those photos. They were non-consensual and if she asks you to delete them, then you're going to delete them. She's clearly a high schooler, and you're clearly an old ass man, so this is just completely inappropriate," she snapped. Her face was stone cold.

You and the young girl held eye contact as discomfort and anxiety bubbled up inside of you. The man's face contorted into one of anger, making you subconsciously step closer to the girl. She noticed and slightly raised her arm to keep you behind her, a small attempt at letting you know that nothing bad was going to happen to you, and that she was going to help you. You appreciated the gesture.

"Listen, little brat. It's not like you know the girl. Just mind your own business, okay? I'm not harming her."

"Oh, my god," the brunette girl sighed out, clearly exasperated. "You're not getting it, are you? What you're doing is illegal. Do I need to spell it out for you? Bul! Beob! Ui! Illegal. She's a literal child, and you're taking photos-disgusting photos-of her without her consent. Delete the photos right now, in front of us," she demanded.

The older man tsked. "Do you know her, girl?" He asked, looking directly at you.

You felt relief flood your veins when she instantly, without any hesitation, responded for you.

"I'm her goddamn girlfriend, if you're so fucking curious," the girl bit out. She grabbed your hand gently in hers. Her touch was soft and caring, comforting you in the tense and awful moment you've found yourself caught up in.

"Aish," she murmured. She looked over at you, keeping up the 'girlfriend' act. "Don't worry, babe, everything's okay," she said. She then turned back to glare at the man again. "Now, delete the photos."

A few moments of tense silence passed before the older man let out a loud sigh of frustration. "Fine. Jeez," he said, followed by a groan. He unlocked his phone and deleted the photos completely, showing the device to you and the young girl afterwards. When that was done, he hurriedly walked off with the young woman glaring at him.

After a few moments, after making sure he was gone, she looked back at you, still holding your hand. In fact, she held it a bit tighter, concern swimming in the depths of her pretty eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked.

You looked up at her and gave her your best smile. "Y-Yes, of course. Thank you so much for helping me out of that." You bowed your head, extremely grateful for her kindness.

"Oh, no, it's no problem at all. What he did was gross. My name is Jang Kyujin, by the way. Now that I'm really noticing your uniform, I've realized that we go to the same school, by the way. I'm surprised we've never met before," she said with a smile.

Jang Kyujin. What a cute name, you thought to yourself.

"Really?" You questioned shyly, your cheeks flushing red. "M-My name is L/N Y/N, nice to meet you!" You quickly added.

After that, the two of you stood there and conversed for a few more minutes, still holding hands, and then decided to spend the remainder of your mall trip together.

To say the least, the two of you had a lot of fun. And perhaps you got her number by the end of it.
