"Good morning." Pedri whispers as I roll over, pulling the covers over my head.

"Don't talk to me." I mumble as he moves the blanket off of my face.

"Tate, come on, it's okay." He says as I turn my head to look at him and I frown.

"He hates me, he hates us."

"He doesn't hate you, he's just upset because it's a bit just in your face. And I'm the one who left the door open so it's my fault, not yours." He says as I lean up on my elbows.

"How is everyone else going to react?"

"Well considering he walked in on us, I'd assume everyone won't be as upset about it. I think seeing that might've made him act a little bit different."

"We scarred him, oh my god." I say as I cover my face with my hands and he begins laughing as he gets up off of the bed.

"Come on, it'll be okay." He says as he reaches his hand out. I swat his hand away as he crosses his arms, looking down at me. "You can't stay in bed all day."

"Watch me." I mumble as he rolls his eyes.

"Whatever, I'll talk to him and see if I can change anything. You can stay pouting, see what I care." He says before he walks out of my room, leaving my door open a crack.

I grab my phone off my nightstand and I look at the day: Friday. So pyramid day is tomorrow, so I can play hooky for two days, I see no problem with that.

I pull the covers over my head again as I hear someone come in the room, sitting on the bed. "What do you want?" I mumble, still not knowing who it is.

"I'm sorry Tate." Gavi whispers as I move the blankets so I'm looking at him.

"Did Pedri talk to you?" I ask as he shakes his head.

"I saw him going upstairs, but I just wanted to talk about it a little bit more." He says as I sigh before sitting up.

I pull my knees up to my chest and I hug my legs as I look at him. "Are you calmer?" I whisper as he nods.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you last night, it was just a lot to learn in a short amount of time and it just felt very sudden." He says quietly as I nod.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just thought it'd be better to keep it a secret, because I knew it'd be weird any way it was brought up." I say.

"Yeah, well you don't have to hide anything from me, and you should know that by now." He says as I sigh.

"I know, I know. I just didn't really know how to just come out and say by they way two of your best friends are dating. Felt more like a personal thing that could be mentioned after awhile." I say as he chuckles.

"Well I'm not mad, okay? I was upset in the moment because it is weird, yes, but I also can tell it makes you happy, so that's good." He says as my expression softens.

"Thank you G, im sorry I didn't tell you." I whisper as I lean over, wrapping my arms around him.

"Just make sure your door is closed from now on." He jokes.

"That was Pedri's fault, talk to him about that." I mumble as he pulls away from the hug.

"Oh trust me, I'll talk to him." He says as he stands up. "But I'll be nice." He adds as he holds up his pinky and I hold up mine before interlocking them.

"Thank you." I whisper as he nods.

"Okay we have to go to training now, but we will see you tonight." He says as he points at me before leaving the room and I smile.
